I hate it when people ask you to talk about yourself - must mean I'm British... :o)
OK - I play for the fun of the game not the rating - I expect a reciprocal response from my opponents...
I will take timeouts when people don't respond, or don't set vacation - I expect a similar courtesy...
I will (almost) always play to 'check mate' - for me it's the high point of the game so a resignation is a bit of a spoiler!
