Olympiad

An Olympiad in the context of chess refers to the Chess Olympiad, a biennial chess tournament in which teams from all over the world compete. It is organized by Fédération Internationale des Échecs or World Chess Federation. It's termed as 'Olympiad' based on the traditional Olympic Games nomenclature which refers to a period of four years between actual games.
