I remember in the 'old days' some clans (don't remember who) always rotated 4 or 5 players in and out, effectively having a pool of 25 😯
I have seen absolutely no evidence of this nowadays .. it all feels a lot 'cleaner' and friendlier 🤝
I don't recall any of that going on.

It is hard to keep the same pace up all year. Then every Clan will run into slumps at times. People get sick, personal issues, as a Clan Leader I am sure you've seen it all.
IVV have come off the drink i think, under Widget they were just a bunch of whinos
EDIT: I believe the year I joined in 2006 IVV finished first. I wasn't playing with any clan at that time.

Have to say chapeau! to all the clan leaders, especially those who've been on the first 2 pages for a long time .... Widget did a great job in the early days but, as you say, sustaining it long term is a big ask ... It will be even harder when we come out of lockdown .... and it will be fishing season for me soon 😀
