Thats cool. I'll never ever judge you for your taste in music ...(*snigger,snigger*)...I mean , oh nothing. Carry on🙂

Seriously, its a fine line for me with the music I like and that which I dont. I'm very particular, but I'll always give indie artists a go.

We can have completely diferring virews on it and it all has some sort of meaning for us.
I can relate to your experience.
I suspect you'd think Primus was just shtick and a joke band.
They sum it up well with their own slogan "Srimus Pucks" 🙂
Agreed!

That'll be a first. Nickelback... that's not rock. Hell, that's not even grunge.

You know why they're called Nickelback, don't you? It's 'cause it should cost only five cents to visit their concerts, but if you have any musical taste at all, you'll still want your nickel back afterwards.

That was sad and barbaric. Nobody deserves that...

Nickleback need defending. The likes of Tool and Primus dont. The music speaks for itself.

Primarily the diversity of views in music and what moves different people.

(I don't mind)

Well, it was one rock and one bottle, so it was not like this reflects on the whole country. It was a festival where the headlines were Dimmu Borgir and Slipknot, so they were clearly the odd one out.

I think the organizers were to blame.

Like the organizers that put U2 on the same bill as Jay-Z. WTF?
Neither is the support band but I guess U2 go on last so...

Could you imagine the crowd? Those young (wannabe)'gangbangers' mixed with the adult rockers😀 crackup...

I think the despise from Slipknot and Dimmu Borgir fans towards Nickelback is probably worse... but, yeah, that sounds also like a bad combination.
