@no1marauder saidIronic. The migrants break the law. They become illegals at the moment they cross. But you say Trump was being illegal. Marauder, I'd be hard pressed to believe you have a legal background.
Good guess. The possible settlements are because of Trump's illegal policy of separating families detained at the border and elsewhere, many of whom were legally entitled to start asylum proceedings. 940 of these families have filed claims against the government in suits they will almost surely win and DOJ is reasonably looking to settle rather than facing a multitude of ...[text shortened]... //www.businessinsider.com/biden-considering-450000-each-for-families-separated-at-border-wsj-2021-10
They chose to come here and break the law. Libs don't grasp the concept of choice. The Kapernick creature is comparing the NFL process to slavery. Marauder, these millionaire players CHOOSE to join the NFL. If it is slavery, then they CHOOSE to be slaves.

@shavixmir saidWhat are YOU jabbering about.
Hey, you right-wing incel cuckolds are the people talking about ET’s and aliens.
Maybe, if you’re on about a subject on an international forum, you should give some background to what you’re spanking your monkey about, because, believe me, you’re so god-damned far off the average playing field with your madhatter psychotic opinions, nobody knows what the hell you’re jibbering on about.
Dictionary: ALIEN: "Belonging to a foreign country or nation".
"A foreigner, especially one who is not a naturalized citizen of the country where they are living. "An illegal alien".
I can't think of a comment to write right here, except that your foolish comment, meant to make me feel like an idiot, makes you the idiot. I said it and I'm glad.
Why do libs tear into semantics or whatever, and go all around an issue?? There are aliens crashing through our borders,,,,,and you are offfeeennnnnnded that we call them what they are. Never forget, Shav, that these people CHOOSE to come here, they take a risk, I aint their daddy. I have been trying to school Marauder on Choice, as well. Lord, I hope I dont have to have Suzianne in my class.
I would love to see your uprising if your government wanted to give some of your welfare money to aliens. Jeaasas H Crist

they asked for asylum. That's legal. what isn't legal is taking your kid away. And then losing said kid.

@zahlanzi said"They asked for asylum". Hahahaha. Do you know the requirements that have to be proven to qualify for asylum? To have a 'better life' is not one of them. Maybe 15% qualify.

You just did a segue from the issue to write about children being separated. What a lib-surprise. You should start a thread on it. But may I say, the people who walked 2000 miles to get here KNEW about our laws, knew they would be separated. They make a CHOICE to fall into the mess. I did not agree with Trump's separation policy but it was the policy, and the families CHOSE to get caught up in it. If they have no grounds for asylum,, they need to retrace the 2000 miles. But then, that was their choice, was it not??

@averagejoe1 saidEven assuming all these aliens "broke the law", that does not excuse the Trump administration violating the law and their human rights by callously separating families. IF these cases go to trial, the probability is high that many of these families will get huge monetary verdicts. So the DOJ is considering settling the cases. That makes a lot of sense to anyone with even a rudimentary legal education if not to right wing extremists.

@no1marauder saidtypical democrat ploy...actually Trump ended the separation of families.

@mott-the-hoople saidYour "whataboutism" argument doesn't change the fact that the present cases don't stem from anything Obama did, but from Trump's policy.

@Contenchess
YOU are the anti American one, you and all your ultrarightwingnuts here.
You don't give a CRAP about democracy in the USA and you are on board with a corrupt Trump coming back in 24, and laws changed to allow him to be POTUS for life, end of democracy here.
I never heard you even deny that charge.
@no1marauder saidThe eloquent Zahlanzi says above that 'they asked for asylum. That's legal". Well, breathing is legal too. But Zahlanzi,, in classic lib form, does not say that crashing the border is ILLegal. So, how bout we separate this asylum issue (another thread,, maybe? Zahlanzi??), and stay with aliens who crash the border, CHOOSE to come into this country where they know they will be separated.

Marauder, if they knew the law, broke it, and saw their family separated, they should suffer the consequences. How about a court of equity to sort it out? Anyway, the probability would be that a court would throw a case out. Because, the alien assumed the risk, in the face of separation being automatic. What in the hell would be left to decide by a court? They decide the law, after a bunch of liberal jurists decide the facts, mainly that it is caaaaallllllloous treatment. The judge would say, sorry jury, it is the law. The aliens should be sent back to where they came from. They broke it, and knew the consequences. Common sense.
I guess one of us is wrong, Marauder.
Tell us again, what makes a 'lot of sense;' to you, you did not make that specifically clear. That an alien, with no standing, (knew the risk) should get money from breaking the law? Run that by us one more time. Brings a few nuggets to mind.. 'assumption of risk', 'came to the nuisance'. Geez

That is the story I want to hear.

@suzianne saidSuzianne earlier implied that white racists put down people of color,,who are not white.
In America, we say to someone like this, "you are so far up your own ass about this".

I responded, that the black mayor of Chicago put down people of white, who are not of color. So, if white people are racists for their feelings or actions, then the black mayor, by her actions, using the same definition of racism, is a racist.
I have received no response from Suzianne, who I think is well-versed in racism. Standing by.
