the Rebubs are in my opinion guilty of Abrigation of Responsibility.
That is to say, they are abandoning the people who got them
elected.
What do expect from people who had to buy votes, with a campaign worth hundreds of millions of dollars, in order to get back in ???

Well my point isn't so much the actual budget, its the so-called
reasoning behind the 'Cut and Borrow' agenda of the republican
party. By abrogation of responsibility I mean they are all to
willing to kill a childs lunch program or ...[text shortened]... upe if it means they can put more money into
a military purchase.
Show me in the constitution where it says the feds are responsible for dance lessons and lunch.

The constitution does charge the President with the "defence of the nation". As a matter of fact, that is just about the ONLY job spelled out for him.

Congress must fund the military. Music and lunch are the domain of those who procreate. If parents want kids to have dance lessons, they should pay for it.

Government swimming pools? Government cat-houses? Say!! I think I have hit on something there. How about this:

Confiscate the houses of the judges of the supreme court (based on the ruling they just handed down) and turn them into cat-houses? Use the money to fund dancing lessons for kids. You got to admit that we will get more money from their property than if they just keep paying taxes etc. Just a thought.

Why do I get the feeling that they would soon change the law to exempt "rich" guys property?

Sounds like a good idea to me! Except I don't like cats so much,
more of a dog person, so they would have to be Dog houses🙂
You don't have to worry about the rich people, they are ALREADY
protected. With this property thing, for instance, I have had a
semi-adversarial stance against my home so-called town for
20 years, have had citation after citation, your lawn is too high, those
bushes stick out too far, bla bla bla for two decades. So when
the town looks around for the site of the next McDonalds stand,
I wonder where their attention will go.....
In other words this law will be used for political retribution in my
opinion. Wonder if there is any wherewithall in congress to stop
this crap?
