I can't believe 3 hours passed without me realizing how much I had read.
Right now up to the Vince McMann slap from Trump. Didn't know anything about that bit of staged theater. Trump is a snake with zero morals and will screw over ANYONE who gets in his way.
One reads this book and wishing to wash hands like picking up a particularly repulsive scorpion.
@sonhouse saidDoes he have footnotes about exactly what happened,,,,,you know, proof, demonstrative evidence, maybe a CD in a sleeve on the back page to hear things as they happened? This concern me, because sometimes people say things happened that may have never happened, and I am very naive, He should at least provide such proof for his readers . I mean, hear is Mr Sonhouse who says that Mr Trump is a snake who will screw over anyone who gets in his way.....but he leaves such a huge statement hanging, just out there, you know, with nothing to back it up. That, he has the audacity to say that if someone reads the book, that that person will wish to wash his hands like he's handled a scorpion. I cannot believe he has this type of insight. Maybe Sonhouse is an author, and rally knows something that we don't? Or, are you pulling our leg, Sonhouse?

@averagejoe1 saidThis is probably meant funny, but it deserves an answer I would think. Just because a guy who hates trump rights a book doesn't mean that we should follow what he is saying as if it is fact.

Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and buy and read the book for yourself and find out what a sleazeball you are in love with.
It is clear about one thing: Your love of Trump started with that slap of Vince McMann and the two TV shows Trump had.
You are worshiping a monster in human form, a man with ZERO morals, a REAL sociopath, narcissistic in the extreme, his offices paved with pictures of himself from dozens of magazine front pages.
Your kind of guy.
@dendron saidThat "guy" was Trump's lawyer and Vice President of the Trump Organization for 12 years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Cohen_(lawyer)

@averagejoe1 saidIf Trump finds untruths and false charges in Cohen's book he can always sue for libel.

@handyandy saidTrump's always looking for ways to use the US government as his personal tool; his buddy Barr tried to get the publication of the book stopped:
If Trump finds untruths and false charges in Cohen's book he can always sue for libel.
"A Manhattan federal judge on Thursday ordered Michael Cohen to be released from prison this week after finding that authorities “retaliated” against the former Trump lawyer for writing a tell-all book about the president.
“I make the finding that the purpose of transferring Mr. Cohen from furlough and home confinement to jail is retaliatory,” U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein stated Thursday, adding that “it’s retaliation because of his desire to exercise his First Amendment rights to publish a book and to discuss anything about the book or anything else he wants on social media and with others.”
"During a virtual hearing, Hellerstein ruled that Cohen could return to home confinement without restrictions based on his First Amendment rights. The judge agreed with Cohen’s legal team that the former Trump lawyer was sent back to prison as an act of “retaliation” over his upcoming book.
Hellerstein said that during his 21 years on the bench, he had never “seen such a clause,” adding, “How can I take any other inference but that it was retaliatory?”

@averagejoe1 saidI can't believe that after all this time, after Trump showing us every day exactly who he is, you STILL have no idea who your president is.

The rest of us knew in November 2016 what a s--- show this was going to be, and that's why we voted for the sane choice.
@no1marauder saidNot only that, but he was Trump's "fixer", his hired thug. He put pressure where pressure needed to be put to maximize situations for Trump. As he said in his forward, “I know where the skeletons are buried, because I was the one who buried them.”

@sonhouse saidSonhouse. I am offended that you take me as a person who would watch game shows. I don't even know what it was. Or, what they are. I mean, really. So, you YOURSELF watched it? Why would you watch a game show. Curious indeed.

When you read such a book, do you actually believe that it is 100% truth.? Of course, you do not,,,,so then that begs the question, how do you decide which of the pages are the truth, and which are not? That would make me dizzy, so I cannot read something that is only partially truth. Rather read fiction by JohnLe'Carre.
My kind of guy? No, probably would not play golf or have dinner with him, he is arrogant and all that other stuff that is unbecoming, I am first to admit that. I am a God and Country kind of guy, though, and in plain english, I do not want my children living under socialism. Donald is the bulwark between us and Socialism. You know that.....Right??
@handyandy saidYes. Anyone can sue anyone. I could sue RHP I guess. Hey, Andy you earlier said you would no longer babble with me!!!!
If Trump finds untruths and false charges in Cohen's book he can always sue for libel.
@handyandy saidIs Woodward going to suggest that we get rid of the arrogant Trump and become a socialist country? Maybe instead of reading Cohen and Woodward, you might pick up a copy of Crude Nation by Gallegos, or any other book on how Venezuela became lost and drowning in Socialism.
The new Woodward book is the one that's really going to hurt!
Or.....you can read about the History of Trump!!!! You fellers best keep your eyes on the sparrow. You gonna rail on about his character, or about socialism?
