It is clear, Viv, that they real credit du3 goes to the scientists and manufacturers. With that said, the article claims
that the 150 million occurred in the first 75 days. But that means that - not only were the distribution plans drafted
back in the Trump days, but so were the manufacturing plans. Biden's admin inherited a machine-in-motion.
And I am not trying to say Trump deserves all the credit. But he does deserve more than Biden, for sure.

Many experts said that the Trump administration’s plan had some key holes, including a failure to communicate with the states and cities about the rollout and inadequate funding for vaccine distribution. But it did have a plan: rely on the states.
The Trump administration’s approach to distributing the vaccine was to give it to locations chosen by the states and to let them take it from there. There are many criticisms of this process, including that it took too long to give states money to implement their plans and a lack of communication from the top about how the rollout would work. But that was the plan they drew up.
Trump had a "plan", but like everything else he does, it was so ineptly carried out, Biden had little to work with.
And I am not trying to say Trump deserves all the credit. But he does deserve more than Biden, for sure.
That's clearly false. And not just because of the vaccines; Trump who consistently denied the severity of COVID, and was caught in a recording admitting he knew how severe the pandemic was, yet lied about it in public.
Trump consistently mocked wearing masks, held numerous events with huge crowds where no one wore masks. Trump restricted Dr. Fauci from sharing information with the public just because Fauci contradicted Trump who was caught lying about the severity of the COVID. Trump even defunded the World Health Organization in the middle of a pandemic.
You think this guy deserves any "credit" for the pandemic response? Hell no.
@wildgrass saidhehehe, ya got me, man. Who could disagree?
Why do either president deserve any credit? They didn't do anything.

Dude, PLEASE! you are so begging now.
The US is the envy of every country in the world and the only way you can respond is to cherry-pick links that show Trump is an inept idiot.
Krist'almighty, man. this is sickening. And the democratic machine did the same thing to the Trump economy.
How much you wanna bet that I can find similar links condemning Biden very quickly?
You think a link makes it official or something??? K'rumba, man.
@earl-of-trumps saidYou call PolitiFact, a source that even Fox News uses, "cherry-picking"? A site well-respected for fact-checking information?

Get off it, you lost this one. Trump's "plan", as the PolitiFact article shows, was inept, leaving Biden with anything to work with.

There were many half-formed ideas, officials said, such as a pharmacy program, but little had been developed beyond concepts. “There was not one piece of paper with how you could vaccinate the entire country,” he said. “If they had a strategic plan, they never gave it to us.”
“There was no plan to vaccinate all Americans,” he said, noting that as of Feb. 12, the seven-day average was about 1.5 million while daily doses topped 2 million.
As an example, the official pointed to the plan to vaccinate people through pharmacies. The program had been announced by the Trump administration, but when Biden officials asked pharmacy officials about how it would work, pharmacy executives responded that they knew little beyond what was in the initial news release.
Drug industry officials say this is correct.
Need more? Or is the Washington Post still "cherry-picking"?
@vivify saidFine, Viv, so Trump set the world record half-trying. Nobody suffered.

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, why do that
Usain Bolt of Jamaica sets the world mark in the 200 meter dash.
Sceptic: "Yeah but Bolt is the worst athlete out there, he's terrible!!! and did you see him trip up coming around the corner?"
😴 😴 😳 😳
Here's the long and short, for now.
# shots administered, as of April 7, 2021
1. USA 173 M-illion
2. China 149 M
3. India 127 M
4. United Kingdom 120 M
5. Brazil 117 M
So the united states also does well in measuring by % but obviously small states
like Israel (9 million) and Hungry(9.8 Mill) have a much easier task.
The Trump admin clearly had made great strides in getting the whole apparatus up and running. END OF STORY

@earl-of-trumps saidIt's not the fact that Trump failed, it's why. First, there's Trump's legendary ineptitude, but more importantly, Trump is a corrupt liar who continually sabotaged efforts to contain the pandemic, defunded the WHO, restricted Dr. Fauci from sharing information with the public, was recorded lying about the severity of the pandemic, held super-spreader events even AFTER he caught COVID, etc., etc.
Fine, Viv, so Trump set the world record half-trying. Nobody suffered.

But more importantly is why Trump lied about the pandemic: his businesses took a $1 Billion dollar hit due to COVID-19. This was Trump's motivation for lying about it and trying to sabotage efforts to take this seriously.
If Trump failed merely because he was dumb, then it would be less of an issue to focus on whatever Trump allegedly did "right". The fact that he failed as a result of being a corrupt habitual liar is why no one's focusing on whatever paltry thing he did right.
If a doctor lies to parents about the severity of the their children's illness and that resulted in needless deaths, are you going to respond "but what about what he did right??".
@vivify saidObviously, something that is worthy.
Seriously, what does it take for a conserve to criticize Trump?
I open a thread that pretty much brags about America in her ability to getting the vaccines out to the public.
I'm sorry if they did a great job.
And your deliberate deflection is a bit annoying as you (and others) had to deviate from the thread to do some Trump bashing.
Now, my question to you... What does it take for a lib to stop beating a dead horse?
@earl-of-trumps saidSo lying about the severity of the pandemic isn't worthy enough for you to criticize Trump. Nor is withholding aid form a foreign government to force them into providing dirt on a political opponent. Or Trying to overturn an election that even his own DOJ said had no significant evidence of fraud.
Obviously, something that is worthy.
In other words, nothing is worthy enough for conservatives to criticize Trump.
And your deliberate deflection is a bit annoying as you (and others) had to deviate from the thread to do some Trump bashing.
