I'm really quite interested to know why there is a generalisation that Texans aren't terribly intelligent. All the Texans that I have met in person are smarter than your average person, I would say. Then again, I have only met around ten.
Add the revulsion thinking people have for this pose to the fact that George W isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, and you can see where the stereotype originates.

Well, Colorado where I live, is a favorite vacation spot for Texans. So trust me when I tell you that they aren't all that bright. It is quite a generalization, but it is perpetuated by people like TexasCowboy or slimjim. Go back and read a few of their posts and tell me how smart you think they are.

I don't know if you guys saw the movie, but any normal person would get up and do something if they knew that terrorists are bombing your country.
