@eladar saidI’d say you are talking out of the wrong orifice as usual.
I would say that shav, kev and viv have no clue about this matter, but knee jerk take opposition to metal.
So if it’s about subscription status how is it I’ve had a shed load of posts wiped?
Just answer the question!
@mwmiller
For the Record, I just had a very simple post deleted above, I know not why. It says in the byline that several deletes could cause permanent ban. I will endeavor to stay on the straight and narrow, you boys would miss me! It would be like dinner conversation where all agree that green is a better color than blue....boring. I have to be there to insert the underlying problem with hues, and that 'the group' is more into color combinations than are conservatives. That would get it going !!
@kevcvs57 saidShav used a word I didn't expect to be taboo but is. The word starts with a "B" and ends with a "D". I posted the same word and it was instantly blocked. His post with the same word stayed up. That is not unusual for Shav as he posts profanity quite often. I am just wondering how he can get away with it and I cannot.
Most removals are by auto mid and I’ve had shed loads removed and the fact that all of your dangerous anti vac threads and posts survived tells you it has nothing to do with subscription status.
Does adding an "s" to the end make any difference?
I think it works like this. We have robomod and we have real moderators .
When a post is made, robomod looks at it and compares the post words to a list of unacceptable words. This may not catch words that are intentionally misspelled, as we often see. The post is published if it gets past robomod.
Once published, the post stays up unless someone alerts the post. The alerted post then goes to the real moderators for their review and action.
I don't know how many moderators there are, but there are probably times when none of them are online, so in that case an alerted post may sit around for a while before it is looked at by them. When it is looked at, it would then be up to the moderator to decide what action (if any) is needed.
I'm pretty sure that when a moderator is online, they probably do not spend all of their time reading all of the posts in all of the forums. They are probably mainly here to play chess. That's why the 'alert system' was added. If they do happen to come across a post that is offensive or violates the TOS but has not been alerted, they could still deal with it at that time.
As far as I know that's how it works, but I could be wrong.
@metal-brain saidWell I subscribe and exactly the same thing has happened to me in regard to quoting one of shavs posts it was perplexing at the time but I accept the explanation given in this thread.

But just know that shav is a bad boy and anyone who plays with him may get in trouble with miss.
@mwmiller saidShav did not misspell that word. I know that misspelling is how sonhouse gets away with it, but shav spelled it correctly. Perhaps he is chummy with the moderators. He could be dating one of those guys for all I know. I know he has an obsession with sex and he often makes sexual references that I am surprised do not get censored. Some of it is quite vulgar.

Why do you think Shav gets away with so much on here?
I typed the “b” word (basically a child of which the male parent is unknown).
When I go back to add to that text, the post is removed.
Quoting it gets the post removed.
And seemingly, if it’s there too long, it gets removed as well.
So, Metal Brain… paranoid as always. I am not allowed to call you a son of a bitch.

@shavixmir saidMaybe your post was removed eventually, but my reply was instantly removed while yours stayed up and you posted yours before mine. Are you a paying member?
