Let's just assume Pfizer is telling the truth though. Is their vaccine inferior to the other vaccines? After all, Moderna and J&J have not said their vaccines need a booster to protect people from covid yet. Does that mean we are not getting out tax money's worth from the Pfizer vaccine?
I suspect the only reason Pfizer is suggesting a booster vaccine is because they supplied Israel with vaccines so Israel is proof their vaccines no longer protect the fully vaccinated there. If they admitted that their vaccines are not effective against the delta variant that would be bad for business.
Pushing the booster shots is good for business. It is the only choice if they want to keep selling vaccines. They have to admit there vaccines don't protect people for very long though. Unless the other vaccines have the same flaw, this proves Pfizer is making an inferior vaccine and our government (the taxpayers) are getting ripped off.
Pfizer said people need booster shots. Government says the data isn't there yet. Huh? Doesn't Pfizer know how to read data? What did Pfizer base their booster shot claim on? Either they looked at the data or they didn't. Which is it? It is only confusing if you don't ask the questions I just did. We deserve an answer.
The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are both mRNA vaccines. Are both in need of booster shots? Does the J&J vaccine last longer? We deserve to know the answer to those questions as well. If the Pfizer vaccine is inferior to the Moderna we need to know so we can tell government to stop buying inferior vaccines at our expense. If viral vector vaccines last longer we need to know that too.
Somebody ask Fauci and Walensky if the Pfizer vaccine is inferior. We all deserve to know the answer.
The better way to protect the population would be to help people get in better physical condition and make sure everyone's immune system is up to par.
Mass vitamin D and other vitamin level blood tests should be given.
If you can improve the physical condition of your population as well as improve immune systems then you will see a drop in multiple areas, including cancer.
Of course big pharm will not make any money on this approach, so governments will not support it.

In the UK there was a report that said .6 percent of vaccinated cases resulted in death while only .1 percent for unvaccinated.
I read an article that said this is because the vaccinated were older on average.
If this is the case, I guess the conclusion should be that age is a greater indicator of death from COVID compared to vaccination.
I love it when the other side starts to make my argument when they try to defend their position. That argument is that COVID is only an issue for the extremely elderly or severe immunity issues.

The delta variant is well on its way to becoming the main strain seen in the US.
Yet 99+% of hospital deaths in the US from Covid-19 are in the unvaccinated.
