The "hooligans" wouldn't last a minute in downtown LA. The Bloods and the Crips would put them in line.

Yes it was. I think Seinfelt also did it.

American are cool tourists because they spend their money too, and are always a good laugh and they open their mouth.
Swiss are very polite and good spenders too, but not too friendly.
British are the worst. Drink too much, alway ...[text shortened]... here are people of all kinds. You can find great tourists from england and lousy from anywhere.
Indeed!

See how much you like the Scandinavian tourists in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria and then come back to me on that one.

They are pretty cute elsewhere though.

Well that's something those two nations can be grateful for.

Not because I have a particular love of Israeli's, but I don't believe in generalising populations.

But seemingly, after I'd enquired what the r ...[text shortened]... ever seen discluded from hostels and the like (such as the kibbutz) was the English.
I knew a Jewish girl who hated Asians out of a sense of competition. She said it straight out. If you think about it, Jews and Asians seem to have very similar cultures in some respects. Both tend to be scholarly, hardworking, ambitious peoples.

How about Canadian people? We do real well. Chill hard. I was in Paris a couple years ago and I met some French people on a train...they gave me a much nicer smile when I told them I was Canadian, not American.

Funny story to me: there was tons of culture shock my first time there but the very first thing I saw getting out of Gare de Lyon was a big group of French people playing roller hockey! As a Canadian hockey player I had to laugh.

There is a big difference between Jews and Israeli's though. Most Jews aren't Israeli and not all Israeli's are Jews. I'm sure I'm not telling you something you don't know but it's worth mention. I woudn't say that girl is representative at all.

The paradox with Japanese tourists, in Sydney at least, is their preoccupation with their cameras. I don't get how, whenever I am out and about through some of the iconic landmarks of our city, when I see busloads of these tourists who are focussed on nothing else but capturing every moment of them being here on film.

Yes they are extremely polite and friendly and you would have nothing to complain of them otherwise, but it always beggs the question, do they go home to enjoy where they have been?

The 'hooligans' wouldn't last a more than a few minutes in anything approaching a fair fight, most of them (generalisation I know there will be exceptions) have no idea how to fight. In fact it would not be a fair fight because they have no idea of how to fight, they are only cowards that know how to kick/punch people when they are on the floor and heavily outnumbered.

Did you speak to them in French? When I was there the last time they looked at French Canadians in disdain and said they spoke gutter French.

I put Canadian in the same place as people from Scandinavia (educated, intelligent, tolerant), with the difference chicks from scand are a lot prettier.
