My point was that there are so few black teachers because so few blacks are college grads and have clean records, it's not because of some kind of racist hiring practices.

there's a reason there aren't that many black teachers .....very few have college degrees or clean records, or are smart enough to begin with.

They are coming for us, folks, and they are not even trying to hide it anymore.

I wonder what you would have done when you supposedly was a navigator if you had to have a black man in your barracks like I did. That dude living with me was a real human being, sensitive and smart, it turned out our squadron was composed of those who posted some of the highest scores the AF gave, me included.
We had Mensa members in our squad.
The racism was clear in the lower ranks, those who were NOT in our classes or jobs.
I was asked if I would mind an N word being in my room. And it was OBVIOUS they were approaching me with the expectation I would go JESUS CHRIST WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TRYING TO DO TO ME HAVING AN N word IN MY ROOM.
It did not turn out that way because I welcomed him in.

A Minneapolis teachers union contract stipulates that white teachers will be laid off or reassigned before “educators of color” in the event Minneapolis Failing Public Schools (MPS) needs to reduce staff.
