@AverageJoe1
The bottom line is affirmative action helped diversify college admissions and those assswipes on SC just don't want blacks and browns to be educated.
They are overtly political in their so-called 'decisions' and you would know that if you had any kind of brains running your own thoughts rather than repaved ultrarightwing zombie bullshyte.
SC could care less about diversity.
BTW, Thomas went to school under affirmative action, hypocritical POS. And that would be BESIDES the obvious out in the open corruption going on where billionaires pay for their party time to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars on private jets and such, but in todays world, at least for you zombies, no bid deal.
@sonhouse saidDo you mean liberal billionaires or conservatives billionaires? I think only conservative billionaires are ruining everything, causing inflation, opened the borders, kept kids out of school, the works. I will vote for our same leader next time. That would be, of course, a vote for Kamala. but things could not get much worse, except that Putin and Xi would look upon her as a frightened wounded animal. It would all work out, though, given her military knowledge.

Hey, I loved your 'rather than repaved bullshyte..." above. All you KNOW is repaving posts. Pick any post. They are Like chinee water torture.
@sh76 saidWhat's next, then, Brown v. Board of Education?
The Supreme Court is not required or even expected to follow precedent. If they did, there would be (almost) no point in having a Supreme Court. I don't think too many people were broken up over the discarding of precedents like Plessy v. Ferguson and Bowers v. Hardwick.
Maybe they should overturn Dred Scott v. Sanford. Like that'll ever happen.
Precedent is what they can refer to when justifying their decision. Justice may be blind, but it sure as hell remembers.
@averagejoe1 saidWhat losers?
Are you fellers sure you want to be typecast with these losers??

@averagejoe1 saidAt least I'm not blatantly ignorant.
Thankyou. Sue won’t listen to me. Sue, who fancies herself a victim, will stir up next to nothing for reasons unknown to us.
And don’t libs preach that the constitution is outdated, throw it in the trash bin? They do, so it would follow that SCOTUS would NOTfollow precedence, which preceding rulings were based on that very constitution.
Sue is of angst, thus skewed in her conflict of comments. Hard to follow. 😕
@kevcvs57 said1] Boston University School of Law students were offered therapy to help cope with three significant Supreme Court rulings this week that did not go in the left's favor regarding affirmative action, religious freedom, and the Biden administration's student debt cancellation program.
Lol Fox News so it must true huh 😂
Do you know the difference between being offered something and asking for, or utilising an option?
I imagine they are being offered financial advice as well, is that ok with you grandma
2] In the wake of the recent decisions impacting affirmative action, religious freedom and student debt forgiveness, Boston University School of Law students were offered therapy, according to a written statement issued by BU Law Student Government Association’s (SGA)
3] Students at Boston University’s School of Law are being offered therapy over the recent rulings by the United States Supreme Court. We haven’t seen anything like this since Trump won the 2016 election.
4] Boston University law school students are being offered THERAPY to help them 'navigate these times' in wake of three major Supreme Court rulings on race, religion and students loans

Kev has been showing his colors these days. Does he know that Ben& Jerry's is owned by Unilever? Do Suzianne, et al know what that corp is all about?
It would blow the top off of these libs, as they follow communists like Ben and Jerry, to know who owns them.
Hey, libs, look up Unilever, and see if you want to waste time with people like me, avJoe. You got some real shyte on your hands. Have fun!

It wasn't about "religious freedom", you goon.
It was giving straights permission to discriminate against LGBTQ. How long will it be before whites are given permission to discriminate against blacks again? Religious freedom, my ass. The alleged customer in the case was fake. It was all a ruse to, as I said, give straights permission to discriminate against LGBTQ.
@suzianne saidA post of links, and you have a problem, Slomo...? Pay attention, this is the chronology:
No, yours will do.

@kevcvs57 said "Lol Fox News so it must true huh"
So I responded with many links to show him that the event is quite REAL. Do you understand now, Idjut?
what's your I/Q anyway? smaller than a shirtsize?
@AverageJoe1
Oh, you mean what's the big deal since we all KNOW just how independent SCOTUS folks are, right, not one ounce of political bias right? No billionaires giving them lavish parties, flying on private jets, all BS, since SCOTUS members would NEVER accept such bribes would they?
But OF COURSE you have no defense of those rats on SCOTUS so you can ONLY do yet another BS distraction.
Who the hell gives a rats ass how those students react? But you want to weaponize it in your zeal to protect the ultrarightwingnuts appointed by your god king Trump.
Who will be next in your desperate attempt to hide what SCOTUS dudes have done and more coming out all the time.
I guess for you that means no big deal BECAUSE they are repubs, if they were dems doing all that out in the open corruption you would be 100 PERCENT calling for their heads, IMPEACH THE BASTURDS.
@sonhouse saidSonhouse....................convince us that the lib judges are not biased.

Anyway, I notice you write...zzzzzzzz, once again about Trump, and you seem to think the issue is SCOTUS......that the issue I present with this thread is something about ....the actions?? .. of SCOTUS.???
This issue is about whiney college students, who are so weak and dependent and tender and fragile, that are crying because rulings don't go their way. Sonhouse? It is about them, being such losers, who, BTW, will make poor lawyers.
You should start a SCOTUS thread about, well, whatever you are writing about here, whatever that is. You seem upset. I think you yourself may need the therapy that the losers in Boston are getting. Therapy for those who are upset.
