Does the BBC educate people about the Nakba on TV and radio broadcasts? Websites don't count. You have to know what to look for and many people have never heard of the Nakba. You have to know about it to look for it.
The BBC would rather most people remain ignorant about the Nakba. The corporate news media in the USA is the same way. You have to find it yourself on their websites. They will not volunteer that information on TV and radio where most people get their news. They don't want many people to know about it. That is called propaganda by omission. If you simply didn't hear about the Nakba there is no lie. They are merely keeping most people ignorant.
Next time you run into a friend you have not seen lately ask that friend if they have heard about the Nakba.

Yes it has umpteen times do not assume that every society is as uninformed as you I find it hard to believe that anyone who has even a fleeting knowledge of the history of Israeli / Palestinian conflict doesn’t know about the ethnic cleansing of the Arabs and the creeeping borders of Israel with every war it’s had to fight. The big question is why Hamas didn’t know about it and / or why they have given Israel another golden oppurtunity to expand its settlements in of Gaza and the West Bank

They never bring it up on BBC America. Never. Do you expect me to believe the BBC in the UK reports the Nakba and the BBC in the USA doesn't? I occasionally listen the BBC on shortwave radio. I have never heard them mention the Nakba except in a passing reference. They never explained what the Nakba was and it's historical significance.
Just admit it. The BBC wants to keep you dumb and clueless and they were doing a great job until I came along. And when some government official tells you we defend Israel to look after our "interests" don't ask what those interests are so you are an obedient moron. I watch all sorts of media outlets for news and wether you like it or not the BBC is by far the best in terms of depth and veracity.
It annoys all shades of political opinion including my own at times but I not an authoritarian type so I take it on the chin and agree to differ, or usually just agree regardless of the party being exposed
