Has it never occurred to you that far from Islam 'conquering' the West it is the West that has totally undermined the Middle East? Not only through imperialism (Iraq, Iran, Syria etc. were all Western imperial possessions in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries) but also more recently by keeping brutal dictators in power in countries like Saudi Arabia thanks to Western arms? Just something to think about (maybe).

If Britain is 'broken' then it is because of outsourcing jobs to places like China and Bangladesh (globalization) and because the UK government more than doubled the national debt to bail out banks in 2009. Try blaming multinational corporations and global financiers not the weakest and most vulnerable members of society.
