My answer is no. I don't like the fact that they support abortion, and that would be my first inquiry as to who I would vote for. There are a lot of other things that I would like to see changed in America. I know that alot of our soldiers fighting in Iraq are going to vote for Kerry because they are tired of fighting and want to give somebody else a chance. But what will Kerry do different that will please them? If Bush or Kerry are not good enough, then who is left? Well their are other partys besides R&D that hardly any votes. Would one of these men be able to lead us better? I think everybody should look into the different partys and see if maybe there is someone better out there.

Not illegal wars? Drugs running rampant? Wide-scale corruption presented on a plate? A two party system where both parties do what they're told by the same people?
Man...I'm off to bed.

By the way, Kerry does not support abortion. He does support choice. He has already said that if he were President it would not be his place to impose his own personal morals on the rest of the country.

That's why kerry supports abortion.
Originally posted by ivanhoeI thought that that flippity-floppiness was the tendency to change one's position. As far as I can tell, Kerry has consistently supported the legality of abortion. Kerry's view is principled, in that it derives from a liberalistic political philosophy. What is strange is that he is able to keep seperate his political liberalism and his Catholicism. I'm not sure how he manages that trick. So, you could claim that he's deeply inconsistent in his beliefs, even though his advocacy of public policies has been consistently in line with one subset of his beliefs, namely his political liberalism.
I'm sure you wouldn't call that flip floppy ......😛
Originally posted by ivanhoeJust to clarify, he has stated that he would've voted for the ban on partial-birth abortion, if it included an exception to save the life or health of the mother. You cannot expect a woman to go through with a childbirth if doctors have told her it could kill her.

I should also point out that most of a woman's fertilized eggs are flushed out of her system during her period. Does that mean any sexually active woman who's had more than one period is a serial killer?
