The special graduation ceremony for the rich and connected has been held at the Sigma Chi house across the street since 1855.

"Separate but Equal"

I've been predicting this for a while in here. Libs are finding more and more ways to smash society
into many disjunct fragments. No more "We are American" in one voice. Those days are long gone.

Your analogy doesn't have a whisper of sense to it.

It wasn't an analogy.

Yes it was.
Analogy:
Noun
"a comparison between two things, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification."

Ummm. Right. Why do you think it was an analogy? The example I provided of a segregated graduation party was not a comparison, and it did not provide explanation or clarification. It provided context.

An analogy, on the other hand, would be a comparison between 2 different things. Those segregated graduations remind me of parking garages that make large SUVs park in a separate section with extra long spaces, or something like that.

AGAIN, this is NOT segregation. ANY graduating students can attend ANY and ALL of them if they want.

If you're looking for racism, it's as close as your bathroom mirror.

Clock

Heh, snowflakes trying to cancel the truth.

Imagine that.

@Suzianne

Suzy, C'mon. Look at the first 4 "intimate" categories:
"Columbia University to host SIX additional 'intimate' graduation ceremonies for black, 'Latinx', Native, Asian,..."

It's as obvious as the nose on your face that Columbia is as racist as can be.

What a joke. It is insulting and offensive to the majority to tell them, without a shred of evidence, that they so prejudice that minorities need to have safe spaces without the majority's presence.

Notice that Duchess64 fails to understand that white people need their safe space and a place to unwind
and don't have to worry so much about undue violence and racism (such as hers)

Equal Protection.... It's not to b tampered with.
