That's not a good comparison. Newspapers are obliged to edit out spelling and grammar mistakes. They also deny publication to articles that are not interesting enough to hold the attention of their readers. If RHP was like that, only a small percentage of the posts would survive to see print.

Banning STANG is one thing, deleting the threads that he created, but that we were ALL using to have a discussion shows that the moderator needed to throw his weight around a little bit.

Plenty of decent threads have been deleted. I have co ...[text shortened]... we don't get involved with the moderators."

Obviously they don't value my subscription 🙂

People would get the impression that you are all against STANG.

But that's just because protestors are louder than supporters.

STANG deserves support because his objectives are noble.

Violence does lead to violence.

So far, it appears that BelgianFreak doesn't have the guts / honesty to reply to my list of questions.

Why don't you answer my post first, Sambo?

"Lets see if Sambo has the guts and honesty to actually become a paying member of Red Hot Pawn before stirring up more trouble.

Seems like a person ought to have to buy a ticket before he can complain about the show."

(By the way, do you realize that Sambo is considered a racist slur here in the States? I'm not sure about other places in the world but it's not a term one would normally use here unless looking for trouble.)

Sambo is a sandwich over here.

Do Americans run out of racist terms to use ?

Would it be safe to change my name to brickie or snag ?

I'm not sure about becoming a subscriber because (a) I don't have much money, (b) I don't have much time to play chess properly, and (b) I was initially attracted to the forums but they appear to be a joke given censorship by "moderators".

(b) Would you have preferred that STANG found new pictures of other horrifying th ...[text shortened]... pinion is on Bush and what's happening in Iraq, etc - Are you honestly neutral ?

When you post a link 15 times and get banned for it, posting that same link again (especially after an unintentional reinstatement) is inexcusable. It ain't the mods' fault if stang is too stupid to take a hint.

Is 69 also a sandwich?

I rather like "snag" as a handle, it's sort of like Stang.

I sympathize with your lack of funds. But I guess I don't understand how you can legitimately begin censoring the censors given the fact that you do not have much experience with the site.

You can turn a sandwich over and eat it either way - hence Sambo69.

I think it's fair to ask a moderator accused of censorship some questions, as I have. Don't you ?

Sure, I think it's fair. But if I was new to a site I don't think I'd call the moderation a joke or accuse anyone of not having guts until I was much more familiar with the site. And I certainly wouldn't do it if I was using the site for free.

Just as a matter of interest, did you take up the cross for Stang before or after he PM'd you? And if censorship is such a problem here have you taken up the cross for anyone else?

I saw STANG's protest against the killing of 16 innocent Afghans ... before BelgianFreak deleted it. If I remember correctly, I then protested and STANG messaged me. I'm not only protesting against the censorship and I'm sure others don't get banned for what appears to have been restrained and compliant action in STANG's case.

If you're wondering if I'm STANG, the simple answer is I'm not and you guys are raising it as a diversion.

Still no answers from BelgianFreak. What a coward !

A friendly word of advice: If you keep on insulting the moderators, you'll be banned.
