Putting covid into a long term perspective...

Covid should be viewed as chickenpox, a childhood disease. If chickenpox were unleashed as a new virus today, it would have killed many more people than covid.

Given the actual danger to younger people, why all the long term worries of covid? Something other than dealing with a virus is at play.

Sure and there is an international conspiracy on the part of every nation's leadership to consciously undermine their economies by foisting a hoax on their citizenry. Or perhaps you believe the vast majority of medical expertise throughout the world are completely mistaken about the deadly nature of the Delata variant of Covid19. Hospitals are not really overflowing with dying adults and children who, if they recover, appear to be plagued with painful long term symptoms. That makes perfect sense..... NOT. I can only hope you represent an extremely tiny minority on the planet.

It is a grab for power. Look up the numbers for death rates of younger people and you will see similar numbers as chickenpox.

Rare long term diseases result from chickenpox as well.

It is my observation after looking at the numbers during the unvaccination period. The news likes to hype because that is how they get viewership.

Chicken Pox is worse than COVID for the completely unprotected.

On the other hand, Chicken Pox gives durable lifetime immunity. COVID does not.

It's not a great comparison. The best comparison is really to influenza, which would probably be similarly deadly in a completely unexposed population.

Chickenpox gives you shingles.

So far it seems covid natural immunity is long term.

The delta variant more contagious but is not as contagious as chicken pox. They lied again. Their own study shows the delta variant contagiousness rated as 6.5 and chicken pox as 10.

They lied to us all again.

Sure there is. There is a vaccine for chickenpox now too.

I was just correcting you on the long term immunity with natural immunity. There are lots of lies out there.

And I suppose governments and hospitals also like to hype they get attention???? You need a good dose of Covid and a few weeks on a respirator.

Do you know how bad chickenpox would be if it were completely new?

Your hospitals are generally filled with the elderly, not the young. This is part of the media cover up to help create the hype and fear to get younger people vaccinated without cause and possibly to their detriment.

I need a good dose of covid? You do know that a very small group of people in my age group get hospitalized with covid. Most people get sick and get better, you know what typically happens with such viruses.

Or do you believe Covid is some new super virus the world has never seen before?
