I saw a statistic that states run by republican governors have a higher crime rate. Is that true? It seems like the GOP is trying to position themselves as a party better equipped to handle crime but I don't see any clear strategy other than bloviating hyperbolic rhetoric.
Is there anything a republican legislature would do differently? Remember the antifa riots under trump and the republican legislature sat on their hands.

Throwing out charges or lessening them is a great way for Blue States to keep some crime stats low.
Most Red States are in the southern portion of the country and they prosecute criminals.
Have you seen the news where Blue States let out a suspect on cashless bail and he is already arrested again for something else? Well Republicans would stop that for one. If they can.
Removing bleeding heart, wannabe virtuistic prosecutors is two. If they can.
During the Antifa/BLM riots, Trump let each state decide what to do about it and the Blue States just let it happen and then they complained about the damage they did to themselves later.
