@wildgrass saidThose are Weasel Words:
You're more likely to be a murderer if you live in a republican state. That's a real, unbiased stat.

@wildgrass saidSince you (racially) bring that up, which ‘type of person’ are we more likely to get murdered by?
You're more likely to be a murderer if you live in a republican state. That's a real, unbiased stat.
You want to parse and pick around the edges and make excuses for the party of law enforcement that can't control crime.
Voting for republicans may be great for increasing deficits and widening the social safety net, but they're not crime stoppers.
You fellers are very very_____________

I do know for a fact that there are more murders per capita in America's red states than in America's blue states.
There have been a lot of excuses.
1) Blue states don't prosecute. Except the number is based on confirmed reports, not convictions.
2) That number's not normalized to population. Except it is.
3) Red states have more _____ so that explains it. But it's always a blank and never an explicit reason.
Joe you love the blank.

@kannstipated saidRepublican policies are better at dealing with crime...
@wildgrass
Um sweety?
Per Capita Stats involve race.
but only if you exclude the coffee drinkers, odd numbered households, and anyone who drives a Dodge Stratus.
@wildgrass saidPer Capita means everything taken into account.
Per Capita involved.
You're still picking and choosing.
Focus on the common denominator.
@kannstipated saidNo I'm not.
Per Capita means everything taken into account.
You're still picking and choosing.
Take the number of murders.
Divide that number by the number of people.
There's no picking and choosing anything, until you started talking about parsing the data picking and choosing what demographics factors might cover up the fact that Republican states have higher murder rates.

@wildgrass
Ya well statistics point to certain things.
If you want to stick with the Red vs Blue politics instead of the real problem, well I can't help your denial.
