I'm not a watcher of the fear mongers so probably not. But The cretins are doing the crime more often in republican states.
I really don't get your reasoning about that, and since I answer questions, could you simplify your postition?

I do not watch all the videos you are describing. These news clips of crime and fires and weather events are all professionally edited and deliberately designed to evoke fear for entertainment purposes. I don't watch them.

These videos have no bearing on a discussion of what effective crime policy is.

If you look at results, Republican governors are not doing a good job.

A matter of opinion. ( What has Kemp done to Georgia....the real citizens, not the losers who want other peoples' stuff. And does he stand up for Voter ID? Yes.
Do you? Tough question for. a lib.
Sure some videos are photoshopped...on both sides, Wildgrass. Maybe you should have said that in your post? If that Jester Jimmmm guy had read that, he would take you at face value, and then I would have to explain it, fill in he blanks. Please, could you explain these things?

I do wish you would see the videos like the non-white person sauntering up to and lady and shoving her down to the subway tracks. Hey, don't these cretins know there are cameras, his face is clear enough.

Terribly myopic just like the other posters.

You can't explain why murder rates are dramatically higher in Red states. It could be demographic, but that kind of evens out nationwide. It could be urban areas, but the most urban states are deeply democratic. It could be "bail reform" but theres no clear correlation between whether bail reform districts have any differences in crime rates.

So what? You can't frame an argument that makes republicans look good to explain why red states have 40% higher murder rates so you instead want me to watch a video of a woman being pushed in front of a train? For what purpose? Good lordy.

I guess we will see next week.
Right. The point is that the GOP are lying when they say violence is higher in blue states.

You are correct, I did not answer straight, but it is because you are supposing someone such as myself can dig into news items to arrive and a one-and-only conclusion which agrees or disagrees with your statement . You and Sonhouse make statements appearing to make true fact out of opinions.
Reasons could be mixing of cultures in one state other than others, or one state lets criminals out, it COULD be demographic, but who is going to answer that question for you without taking a class on it. I cannot even play the game of bridge. Or search links like Marauder does. We are not in a class here.
So you win this debate, I could never explain how you could put together every factor, from bail reform to a misplaced street sign, to arrive at such a conclusion,
You win, I will never live in a red state again. Too many killers. Illinois, NY, here I come.

I know. I totally agree with you. Things need to be simplified.

Murder rates is 40% higher in states run by republicans. I'd have a hard time believing they are providing good solutions to bring down crime.

But who is? The gov of NYC is catching all kind of hell for her nonaction on crime, so is Chicago mayor, and so it goes. They are Democrats. So, it is both parties, and how can you suggest a method to bring down crime when those leaders are putting them on the street to kill and rape? They ignore all that. I personally dont know what repubs are doing along those lines, , all I know is dems are doing it.

It is of course both parties. But republican governors have statistically been worse at dealing with murder rates.

Policy-wise, the only strong correlation is gun laws.
