@no1marauder saidI was fine with what?
It was fine with you in 2020, wasn't it?
Trump is disqualified from the office of President.
But aside from that, I really don't care how political parties pick their candidates. In NY, we have requirements to get on the ballot more strenuous than Massachusetts and our primaries are "closed" i.e. only members of the party can vote in them. I suppose you think that's not "democracy" either.
So you are fine with Trump being the only candidate on the primary ballot if the GOP decides that is fair. Good to know if it happens you will never complain about it.
So Iran banning candidates from running is fair game to you. That is also good to know you accept rules that are anti democratic.
@no1marauder
I asked you a question. I did not ask myself a question. Why are you evading the question?
What doesn't make sense? Be specific. I am not a mind reader.
@metal-brain saidIran banned candidates and parties from running in the general election, generally on ideological and/or religious grounds.

That's a far cry from a political party not letting every Tom, Dick and Sally on a primary ballot.
@metal-brain saidAnd yet you support Donald Trump.
@no1marauder
Perhaps you should stop using CNN as a source for anything. They lie too much.
@metal-brain saidI answered your question. No, suggesting laws outlawing abortion are essentially the same as political party rules regarding who gets on a primary ballot doesn't make sense except to an idiot.
@no1marauder

@no1marauder saidI disagree.

Are you suggesting that ballot access has nothing to do with having a chance to win an election? Yes or no?
You did not answer my question. STOP LYING!
@no1marauder saidWhat doesn't make sense? I have no idea what you are talking about.
No, it doesn't make sense except to an idiot.
Laws restricting Natural Rights are void and have no validity.
Party rules regarding how they decide on which candidates they run are their business (assuming that person meets legal qualifications), not the States.
That you can't comprehend the difference is rather mind-blowing.
Be specific.
@no1marauder saidSo if the GOP makes sure only Trump appears on the ballot in every state that is fine with you? Is that what you are saying?
Yes. It's an unnecessary regulation of political parties' decision making.
Would that apply to every political party? Would the State be required to have primaries for every single one of them? With as many people on the ballot as the State deemed desirable?
@metal-brain saidThen I'm sorry you're so stupid, but I've explained it in language even an average 5th Grader would understand.
What doesn't make sense? I have no idea what you are talking about.

@metal-brain saidPolitical parties are private organizations and should be able to pick their candidates by whatever means they decide assuming the person has the legal qualifications. I wouldn't care if they flipped a coin or played one potato, two potato for it.
I disagree.
Are you suggesting that ballot access has nothing to do with having a chance to win an election? Yes or no?
You did not answer my question. STOP LYING!
You have your choices in the general election; if you don't like how your party picks its candidates, find another party.
@metal-brain saidI answered this on the last page; how many times do I have to do so?

You are evading my question and it is obvious. I detect a serious weakness so I will ask the same question over and over again until you stop lying and answer my question.
@no1marauder saidSo you are fine with it? I don't believe you.
I answered this on the last page; how many times do I have to do so?
If the GOP banned everyone from being on the ballot except Trump you would be furious and allege election meddling and you know it. So does everyone else on this forum and you know it. Liar liar pants on fire.
@metal-brain saidGrow up, you pathetic idiot.
So you are fine with it? I don't believe you.

@metal-brain saidOkay then for the 3rd time:
STOP LYING!
