@kingdavid403 saidMaybe so we never cried like little babies saying the system is rigged.
Or the congress stopping funding of the wall?
Congress holds the purse strings to non-military spending; they do not have to fund the baby's wall.
Nothing wrong with the system, nor is Trump abridging it. It's just the mumbles and groans of TDS people you hear.
Well, we that lean a little left heard constant sniveling, moans, grumblings, etc; for at lea ...[text shortened]... an't.
You have at least five years to catch up with us. 🙂 Which hopefully will not happen. 🙂
@earl-of-trumps saidLOL... Yeah, okay. Obama did not have Russia interning in our elections to sway favor for him either.
Maybe so we never cried like little babies saying the system is rigged.
Obama also did not lose the vote of the people by over 3 million votes (popular vote) either, etc.
The system is always at risk of being rigged; and, it has been several times in history.
The post that was quoted here has been removedProbably not, but speaking out about the flaws of a country and fixing those flaws are 2 very different things.
I would have expected 'patriotically correct' Americans to claim that, UNLIKE in
Russia or China, Americans enjoy complete freedom of speech in the USA.
That sounds about right - Your point?
The post that was quoted here has been removedI was pointing out that what Mchill wrote would be instantly attacked as 'anti-American' by 'patriotically correct' Americans here IF they perceived its writer as not American.
That's quite possible, but I would suggest attacks come in many forms, and there is a major difference between reading a few insults on one's computer screen, and having one's head dented with a sawed off baseball bat. Classifying the former as an "attack" goes in my hypersensitivity category
@mchill saidI've been saying this long before Orange man, but only Orange man has made you see it. Then if you get another Dim in there you will go back to sleep again.
Frankly, I'm not sure we do anymore. A special counsel spends an enormous and money investigating the Trump campaign, and returns with a 400+ page report heavy on legal jargon, and light on clarity, then Robert Mueller does little more than whimper when Bill Barr keeps the report under wraps while he spins a narrative on it very friendly to President Trump. Result: Nothing
...[text shortened]... lause specifying he's not admitting guilt.
-So much for our system of "checks and balances!" 🙄
So do you really want to fix the system or just get another "D" in the Oval Orifice?
My guess is that Dims just want to rag on Trump to get their stooge back in place and keep the system as is, then make heads roll again by sending the IRS back out after their political opponents.
@mchill saidyou are describing a failed coup and too stupid to understand it.

@mchill saiddemocrats have become increasingly anti-American!

@whodey
But for you it is way ok for Trump to order Barr which of his buddies gets a sweetheart deal no matter the crime or how hard to come down on his enemies.
Where have I heard that before? Oh yeah, does the term "Banana Republic'
come to mind? IT SHOULD. It is corruption right out in the open and you could care less.
@sonhouse saidWhen did I ever comment on any of that?

Hmm?
There is so much corruption on both ends of the political spectrum, bantering about just one side is ludicrous.
@whodey
So it doesn't matter, just let it slide because both sides are corrupt so don't even TRY to bring accountability into it. Got it. System is so bad just ignore everything.
And OF COURSE you would never breach republican corruption ONLY democrat corruption and show me how anything democrats did that would equal the complete takeover of the Justice department by Trump. I guess that doesn't rise to your level of what corruption really is, eh.
