I still don’t see how taxing the rich would make people live more decent lives. It could be that you just think the money should be given to them, but that will not give more decent lives ....it will make their lives worse due to the unintended consequences. Elon Musk's innovations do not impact my life at all. He makes toys for rich people.
I do not work for a large corporation. They piss me off. I work for/with immigrant Israelis and Koreans who run small businesses in partnerships with locals of all races, who respect my accomplishments and those of my family and have no racial or ethnic axe to grind because they aren't from here. They KNOW opportunity is here and have no interest in fleeing high tax urban States like CA and NY because they aren't white and would not fit in and there wouldn't be access to large markets for their goods and services.
