Even if Trump gets impeached it will open the door for his son to run. His eldest son has his name and everything. Junior could even run for a second term for a potential 8 years when his father would be limited to 4 years since he already served one term.

The DMC and its voters have proved that they can, and will close ranks to keep a Trumpian type Republican out of the White House and a sizeable chunk of the centrist republican vote have rejected a Trumpian candidate. I really do not see where the Donald Jnr victory is going to come from.
The post that was quoted here has been removedI realise that he will always have the loyalty of a large Republican base but given the margin of defeat in the last election and the fact that at least some republicans rejected Trump senior, whilst we should never say never in politics, I don’t think the clever money will be on a trump or trump Jnr victory in the 2024 POTUS election. There will at the very least need to be surge in numbers for the base.
I do not understand why pundits keep focusing on the 74 million and ignoring the record 80+ million who either voted for Biden or against Trump.
I think Biden has a tightrope to walk between rewarding the left wing of the Democratic Party that got behind him and not scaring the centrist Republican voters that rejected trump in 2020.

You're delusional if you think he called for a mob. He called for peaceful protests which are protected by the constitution.
If he lost followers why the need to prevent him from running again? That is the only reason to impeach. You obviously do not believe what you are saying or you would have no need to impeach Trump. There is no need to ban a person from running that does not have enough followers.
Maybe things are going to get so bad under Biden the elites know they will turn to Trump in 4 years. Even if he lost followers like you claim the establishment clearly thinks that could change. If not, why ban him from running at all?
People are going to hate Biden. That is why. The elites have plans with Biden that they know we will all hate. War for one. Maybe compulsory vaccinations of mRNA that are not really vaccines and program your cells to produce foreign proteins.
This is not an indication of how bad Trump is, it is an indication of how bad Biden will be.
