Oops. I just reread the original post. Eratum is that I stated "10 billion" likely "civilizations". Sorry about that. That is the number of worlds that drake things "may" hold "intelligent" life. This is where I made my mistaken post. The problem is that a dolphin and a chimp are "intelligent" but do not have the ability "technologically" to communicate with radio waves.
The final "number of Techno civilizations in our Galaxy" is estimated by Drake at 10 Thousand... Not 10 billion. Sorry about that. Where is the marauder when one really needs a correction?😛
