I, for one, am going to start getting my facts from flatearth.org
Any site which can state:
“The propagation of knowledge related to Natural Cosmogony in confirmation of the Holy Scriptures, based on practical scientific investigation.”
Without laughing has to be believed.
For example:
500 people are members. There used to be 3.500 members, but they’re in a bit of a decline.
The movement started around the same time as Christian zionism (my observation... you could say that it’s coincidence... but you’d really be denying the paranoid conspiracy theories the movement loves).
The United Nations flag is based upon the Flat Earth theory.
Well, okay.. that’s what they claim...
I mean... this is seriously funny stuff!
The post that was quoted here has been removedI think that's possible, but I also think it's a sign of the times.
Most folks would rather have it encapsulated in a see/hear--- complete with Clif Notes™ summary/conclusion for a palatable snack--- than to be confronted with a wall of text, which they must suffer through to end up with the same results: someone else's conclusion.
Facts are not for the layperson, it seems.

What happens on a flat Earth when the sea levels rise?

Cool.
I always thought the flat planet had waterfalls at the edges and only the Arabs knew the world was round.
But looking at history, it seems even most Western Europeans in the middle ages knew the world was round.
And this snow globe stuff is just taking the pish.
I can phone someone in the Netherlands, the US, China and Australia; within 15 minutes.
We can fly / sail the distances and measure differences between the US, Europe, China and Australia.
And when you compare times / light va dark there is no way the planet can’t be round.
This is all besides rationality and FM and satellites.
I.e. The flat Earth society is either taking the pish, or they are completely mad.
I hope they’re poking the beat.
A much better story to quote to kids.

The snow globe is what Genesis says. Rain comes from cracks in the sky and floods come from leaks in the floor.
*shrug*

Oh. No. Wait. Let me get my facts via FlatEarch.org...
No. Yeah. Diving bells, Jesus fighting Atlas and UFO's have already destroyed Big Ben...
aha... no, I was wrong, the world has already ended??? Yeah... NO WAIT!!!!
We've just been sucked into a crop circle. ]
Seemingly there is no end to the end of us.
Oh well, I guess it's better than just fading out.
And, yes, just in case you were asking: The music did die the day Buddy Holly died.
