When Putin has taken the fast track down the Kremlin stairs and the Russian people have control of Russia again and their right wing elite have replaced Navalny in the gulag maybe then we can look at transforming nato Into a much looser alliance of democracies but you’d still have the problem of blatant Chinese expansion so the idea that western nations are going to allow themselves to be picked off one by one any time soon is fanciful to say the least.

Here is the problem. The western empire is doing the same thing the Nazis did. They had a superior military, but other nations were about to catch up and perhaps surpass Germany if the Nazis did not go to war while they had the advantage, but it ended badly for them as we all know. The western empire is doing the same thing and hoping for a different result.
