1. people don't want to give up their comfort zones, and hearing that we are causing climate change leads to the obvious conclusion that to stop climate change from spiralling beyond our ability to adapt to it, we have to give up our comfort zones.

2nd/ I doubt many do not believe human activity does "not" impact climate, just how much, 0.0000005% to what, you name it.
3/ I doubt anyone does not believe that we need to move away from fossil fuels, just for different reasons. Me, nought to do with climate.
4/ regardless of weather or not climate "change" is a problem, some of Mankind think themselves Gods that we can wave a wand and fix it. We can not but we can adapt. BTW, climate is a problem, always was, always will be.
