i would listen (something trump has a problem doing) to the health care pros and put together a competent team

President: "You should sell off some stocks!!!". Result: Awesome for the first few that move quickly. In the long run that makes everything worse.
President: "A vaccine is not coming anytime soon!". Result: ???? Everyone feels worse. Not even slightly improved life for anyone.
President: "Everyone should get surgical masks!!!" Result: medical workers cannot get them. The suppliers are not able to produce anymore than they already are.
So I ask again, what specific truth he has not told, and how are things going to be better if the president is more forthright? I am really interested in some profound thoughts here. Does it ever get more insightful than "orange man bad"?
My guess is that Trump is listening to experts, and is more up to date on the state of affairs than you are and is doing things that are not in the headlines. And what he elects to tell the public is not necessarily all he knows because he's smart enough to know that not everything that could be said will make things better.

LEADERS don't sugar coat, LEADERS tell the truth even if it hurts.
