Careful, or he'll be wanting to compare "1040s" with you too.

If sasquatch has the biggest "1040" in this thread, then the only logical assumption is that his self obsessed diatribe is RIGHT!

So romantic, the bus driver serving the community - for the greater goodness of the common, no doubt. Actually he was doing it for a salary, and a bunch of cushy benefits. Actually he was doing it for himself.
Excellent. Well you will be able to relate to that then.

Maybe so. But not by you, it would seem.

Easy now, I was just having some fun with a stupid quote from Obama that stereotypes people like yourself.
Seems like you were spot on ... was Obama too?

Just trying to provide a little humor to this thread. Unfortunatly I was taken seriously and I was then attacked more or less the same as had I had a mouth full of night crawlers while attempting to french kiss a catfish. Not that I have ever tried that mind you. 😛

As for Obama, I think it was one of the few quotes he has made that was not well thought out in advance. He usually picks his words much more carefully. He has to understand that both Mccain and Hillary look at him as the man to beat and should expect more of the same. I don't think he is used to the type of scrutiny he is encountering and will continue to encounter from here on out.

Maybe you do to, how much of your day is truly 'sacrificial'.

You don't know half of it, Wajoma. I bring it on myself, absorb the suffering, entwine it into the very marrow of my insight, I embrace it, I ingurgitate it into my body, where it starts out as oscillations which quickly create heat (and a low sound), and then light, until finally I burn brightly - all alone - in the still of the Javanese night.

My wife and I recently moved to Pittsburgh. We were house shopping, and found a house we loved. Trouble is, it was in Allegheny county, where bus drivers with 20 years on the job make $110,000, public employees are provided with lavish pensions, and the lower end of the socioeconomic spectrum consumes vast amounts of government services.

So the pr ...[text shortened]... county, because they can't satisfy themselves with $5500, will now get zero of my dollars.
taxes on a house in california bought in 1997 for $350K, market value now $900K: $5200 / yr.

u should move out of PA, sasquatch.

Socialist policies go against the laws of nature. Socialist policies reward inefficiency and idleness, and destroy wealth and opportunities to create more wealth.

Here's a ...[text shortened]... use the right-thinking, capitalist portion of my country believes the same things I do.
All of the salaries a business pays are created wealth? That sounds fishy to me.
