@neilarini saidMany have.
It's a non racist forum. Feel free to leave permanently.
Only in 2020 are facts racist.

@chesstachio saidI'm fine with the Forum now.
No1 and others wish it would go back to the way it was where you could actually argue with people.
Now all we have is a bunch of leftists who will eventually turn on each other.
Have you looked at most of the threads?
Its lefty/liberals trying to get a debate going but it doesn't work when one side is overly moderated because of people's "feelings"...
Forum meet death, death meet forum.
Right wingers don't want to debate anything but race baiting topics in line with the Donald's re-election strategy. They certainly have dropped the COVID-19 topic like a hot potato as their predictions and advice turned so disastrously wrong. And bragging about the Donald's great economy doesn't seem as popular as it was in say February.
No one is stopping you from creating some fascinating thread on an interesting topic, CT. It might be a better use of your time than complaining about the rules you have accepted to use the Forums on a chess site.
@shavixmir
Jesus, what horror movie did YOU watch? That could NEVER happen in the land of the brave and free.. Oh, wait.....

@handyandy saidhe is posturing.
"I have to see. No, I'm not going to just say yes. I'm not going to say no, and I didn't last time either."
This is President Trump's response to a direct question during a recent Fox news conference as to whether he will accept the election, win or lose.
Does it make you worry?
he has nowhere near enough support for a coup d'etat.
he said it so that news outlets spend time talking about him instead of ignoring him like the child that he is.

@handyandy saidThe question is likely in reference to whether or not he would call for recounts and invstigate election fraud.

Indeed, the Democrats could scarcely accept the election of Pres. Trump and invested much energy into implicating him in some collusion with Russia to undermine our democracy.
Pres. Trump has every right, just as much as anyone else, to call into question the results of an election.

@philokalia saidIt's a truly bizarre turning things on their heads to say that investigating Russian interference in our electoral process is "undermining our democracy".

"War is peace / freedom is slavery [and] ignorance is strength.”
Doublethink lives on.

@no1marauder said... is there a set of circumstances where the 2020 election would have to be investigated?

Of course.
We just investigated the 2016 election.
Why would anyone be in the wrong for stating that they would be cautious about accepting the election results when we have even people in this very forum who still believe that there was election meddling.

@chesstachio saidYeah look again we’re having some excellent debates and it’s not like all the right wingers have left, it’s just the idiotic trolling ones, if you hurry maybe you can catch them up.

@phranny saidSochi.
I'm guessing Biden will win by a significant majority. It may take awhile to count all the mail in votes. Once Trump is an ordinary citizen, his tax returns and dealings with Deustch Bank will be scrutinized by the courts and he may be facing prison. I doubt Trump can count on a Biden pardon. In fact, I suspect Trump and his family have made plans to exit the country quickly to some spot where it would be difficult to extradite them.

@chesstachio saidYou are at liberty to post to some other web site.
In 2020 facts are racist.
Enjoy the boring forum.
Good riddance.
