@eladar saidYes, it is normal for societies to protect people from possible harm from others.
Lol, yes speed limits are the same thing as laws forcing people to wear masks and to shut down businesses.
Welcome to the leftist normal.
The same principle that justifies speed limits justifies mandatory social distancing measures during an epidemic.

Moron.
Of course there are shadowy organisations. It’s not bloody SPECTRE though.

Media coverage of this has been overwhelmingly negative. Will they be able to continue their attacks when the chips are on the table?
“Our measures are all based on individuals taking responsibility, and that is also an important part of the Swed ...[text shortened]... ucrat uttered the phrase "personal responsibility" without trembling in anger at its mere existence.
"Part of that approach relies on having access to one of the world’s best-functioning health-care systems."
Keep in mind Sweden has free healthcare. So I take it you support this, right?
Also: "Personal responsibility" doesn't work when you have a country full of conservatives referring to the pandemic with "Democratic hoax", downplaying the severity of it multiple times, as "just a flu". The biggest cable news network, Fox, kept pushing the falsehood that the pandemic is nothing, that Dems are exaggerating....until scores of people started dying and hospitals couldn't keep up with the sick.
You can't rely on "personal responsibility" when a large segment of the population believes in Trump and Fox News over facts.
@eladar saidI've already shown you the history and the law.

The only thing unusual here is for almost all States to take such measures at the same time. But States have always had the legitimate power to enact emergency measures to protect the public health by preventing the spread of infectious diseases.
