Funny. You’d think a bomb shell news story about the US president’s son’s laptop containing State secrets being leaked to Fox (or whoever) would be newsworthy.
Yet, seemingly, it’s not.
Just very anti-Biden (pro-extreme right-wing republican “news” sites) are reporting on it…
Why isn’t it on Al Jazeera, the NOS, German or French news?
Hell, even the Russians haven’t picked up on this whopper of a story!?!?
What conclusions can one draw?

Joe reread this. What the blargh are you writing? Did Hunter bone bigfoot or not?
Dozens of boxes of US military classified documents were stolen and we know who stole them and nothing's been done about it. Is your thing with the laptop, which you still haven't coherently explained, worse than that?
You are lying
@averagejoe1 saidNYT says nothing when Hunter laptop is real,
And this is good reading....

@mott-the-hoople saidJeez Mott this is the fifth page of the thread and all we've heard is vague references to "dealings". What's the deal with a laptop?

Joe Biden was involved in a deal with a Chinese giant — and was expecting a 10 percent cut
"In her new book, “Laptop from Hell,” Post columnist Miranda Devine reconstructs the Biden family’s quest for cash by using files left on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop. Sunday, she detailed how Hunter and his uncle Jim Biden entered into a deal with Chinese government-linked energy conglomerate CEFC, and contacted businessman Tony Bobulinski to run the enterprise. Here, Bobulinski meets “the big guy” — Joe Biden himself. "

A lovely read :-)

@earl-of-trumps saidEven if true, so what? The dealings outlined were supposedly done in May and June 2017, when Joe Biden was a private citizen.

And the article is disingenuous in discussing "plausible deniability". At first, it gives the correct definition:
"“Plausible deniability,” he [Jim Biden] said, using a term coined by the CIA during the Kennedy administration to describe the practice of keeping the president uninformed about illegal or unsavory activity so he can plausibly deny knowing anything if it becomes public knowledge. "
But them it says:
"Bobulinski understood Jim meant that Joe knew what his family was doing in his name but was insulated from the dirty details. It was why Jim and Hunter had instructed Bobulinski the previous night to keep the business talk with Joe at a vague “high level.” "
But Jim Biden specifically used a term meaning the subject was uninformed about such activities.
In other words, where is any support for allegations of illegal conduct by Joe Biden? As a private citizen, he's allowed to make money from foreign firms AFAIK unless those firms are sanctioned or engaged in illegal activities that he's aware of.
So, where's the beef?
@no1marauder said“ “How are you guys getting away with this?” he finally asked. “Aren’t you concerned that you’re going to put your brother’s [2020] presidential campaign at risk? You know, the Chinese, the stuff that you guys have been doing already in 2015 and 2016, around the world?” ”

@mott-the-hoople saidBobulinski's comment you have cited shows what exactly? That he thought some of the things Hunter and Jim did might be politically damaging to Joe?

@no1marauder saidMarauder, all due respects for your supporting research, but a heck of a lot of people, who know more than we do, seem to know that there is culpability, or accountability, or guilt, or whatever we want to call it. Spending inordinate time on it, reputations on the line. For the record, to the Jimms and Vilifys of the world, when you see a byline from FOX, such as the Schwiezer author interview, he does not work for FOX. Y'all seem to say that all opinions are those of Fox News.

you are a sad joke.
to me the biggest issue here is our intelligence agencies lying about this, the lying is bad enough, but it was also election interference.
