Devastating? If he is a ‘devastator ‘, why isn’t there devastation right now🤔? He’s been at it for 3 years. What devastation? Please explain.
The devastation of the political system and traditions. If you want to get a taste of the consequences, look at what happened in Italy after Berlusconi's rise.

I'm not interested in YouTubes as "evidence" in the Debates Forum for reasons I have already explained on numerous occasions.

It remains to be seen whether impeachment "helps Trump" or not; I strongly suspect that when the full truth is revealed as the majority of Americans desire it will blow up in the Donald's face; there's a reason he's hiding documentary evidence and stopping aides from testifying about their firsthand knowledge of his actions and motivations.
No need to watch it. Have the democrats used the same obstructionist tactics to oppose Trumps agenda that republicans used against Obama during his first term? If democrats really hate his policies so much why are they voting for them?

Impeachment also has no influence on President Trump's "future misbehavior." That they impeached him without even alleging a statutory crime played into every Republican talking point. If they weren't going to allege bribery or at least obstruction of justice, impeaching him was pointless.

There is zero indication that any Republicans in either House would have voted for a meaningless censure resolution.
It's an impossible hypothesis to test, but some Congressional Republicans have spoken out against Trump.

https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2019/nov/22/disinformation-targets-republicans-who-criticize-t/

To cite one example, I would be willing to bet that Mitt Romney would have supported a censure.

@Metal-Brain
Here is the bottom line: WE CANNOT LET HIS BEHAVIOR GO UNANSWERED.
History will judge Trump as the VERY worse POTUS in US history.
THAT IS A FACT JACK. His treatment of immigrants, his flagrant use of unsecured cell phones to conduct government business, when he has to know the Russians, the Iranians, the Chinese can ALL tap into those phone calls is more than risky.
IT IS A NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUE OF TOP PRIORITY.
And you can't see that COMRADE.
THAT IS ONLY THE START OF TRUMP"S CRIMES.
Before you go all WHATABOUT HIMISMS, Answer THAT ONE CHARGE of him using unsecured cell phones.

Then tell the house to impeach him. It will only help Trump get a second term. Is that what you want?

We have to take a stand. PERIOD. If it is not shown to be bad behavior and just let it go to 2020 then it is implying his behavior is now the new normal and ANY new POTUS can and will get away with the same bullshtye.
Why can't you answer the bit about where Trump uses unsecured cell phones for government business and the implications that brings up? Why do you refuse to answer THAT charge?

Go for it. Write your congressmen in the house. Ask them why they don't have the balls to impeach.

You are truly stupid. Impeachment was passed.

No Republican voted for it. That is the shame.

From my understanding it is only going through the motions as it has to be approved by the Republicans. Dems would have to have 20 as I understand to go against Trump for it to happen and him be thrown out of office. No one is expecting that to happen. Some are even saying Trump could actually end up getting elected for a second term God forbid!

You clearly are not clear on what is going on here.

The House impeaches and the Senate has no say in that.

The Senate trial determines only if the president is removed from office or not.

And your math is horribly wrong as well.

Actually, VR's math is spot on.

He said:

That is exactly correct. You need 67 votes in the Senate to remove Trump. There are 47 Democrats. Thus, assuming no Dem defections (a questionable assumption, but okay), you would need 20 Republicans to vote to throw him out of office.

I have nothing to add to this thread except that the title kind of works if sung to the tune of Jimmy Crack Corn.

You're welcome.

@Sleepyguy
Good one😉
That still doesn't excuse the reprehensible behavior of President CHUMP.
