Meanwhile, a local Caracas newspaper reported that a group of its reporters had been attacked by pro-government supporters.

The newspaper said the attack happened as the journalists were handing out leaflets against the proposed bill.

Yeah, that does sound sketchy.
Had a quick google. There were 12 journalists, all from the same group of papers. Sounds less like a group of workmates with a common view.

That's not the part that bothers me. What bothers me is how the newspaper is running stories complaining about how it's journalists were stopped from doing this. Those stories seem to take the responsibility for the protest out of the hands of the individuals and into the hands of the newspaper.

Which is maybe because they weren't acting as individuals, but as employees.

What about Honduras, it's the far left that this time is trying to get the US to start intervening rather than leaving the latin american countries alon like its doing.

I'd like to hear more about this. My understanding is that Zelaya ignored the Supreme Court's legal ruling and the Supreme Court declared that he should be captured by the military, which then occurred.
You pretty much have the important parts of it.

I said to go back and see it. If you don't remember that it's not my problem.
