I have the impression the US has lost the initiative in the Iran issue at this moment. It seem they cannot find, or cannot agree on, an effective and consistent way to deal with it. One of the difficulties they're facing is of course the positions France, Russia and China are taking. Russia and China are opposed to any economic sanctions, because of their financial interests in Iran. France as usual has a "dualistic", meaning a hesitating, approach.

Clearly. Iran has no "WMD" or at least there is no proof. Sure there "might" be some, but they used to "definately" be some in Iraq, hmmm?

Incidentally, only about 15 % of Iran is desert. To the south are the Zagros Mountains, and to the north are the Alborz moutains, which are named after me 😀

So then those mountains are very young indeed, not even as old as my hat.

You do realise that there are lots of mountains in Iran, don't you?

Of course, stocken, and I fail to see the relevance of your post as an answer to my post as an answer to abejnood.

Are any of Iran's vast mountains less than 17 years old? 🙄

And, if so, Stocken, are any of those young mountains hollow and radioactive?
