Isn't that bigotry to make this assumption?
No. Why are you asking if they are perverts or not?

Nobody is hating anyone here, you're clearly misunderstanding what I said.
And you are clearly not addressing my point, as is often the way with you.

Has anyone considered how a homosexual would feel, stumbling across this thread discussing whether or not he is a perverted?

Has anyone ever wondered why scarcely any Muslims 'openly' participate on RHP forums? This place is a nest of strutting vipers (so to speak) who are probably roundly ignored and scoffed at in real life.

I'm not asking if gays are perverts. I'm asking if the act of homosexuality is a perversion.

To say that homosexuals are perverts would be a homophobic remark as it would
imply that they actively seek perverted behavior. That's not what I'm asking.

And with what justification are you attempting to differentiate between these two nouns which have the same etymological root?

The thread was put in place to answer Generealissimo's question which has now been posted in a second thread.

I like to think we are dealing in truths here. I'm sorry if it upsets some people.

How would a homosexual feel? Angry, hurt, wronged maybe?

Yet why would he/she feel that way if the word perversion was built to house homosexuality?

I guess the thread is more about peoples own inner conflict and use of language when
dealing with taboo subjects.

Sure, deal with truths. It just struck me that the tone of the thread may come across as insensitive. Perhaps 'perverted' is too loaded a word?

Read it again. Does it say 'perverted' or 'perversion'?

Amazing. I could hold it in neon letters in front of your face and you'd still
misread it. That's precisely the kind of indoctrination we're talking about.

You aren't making any sense.

And by the way, changing your post after somebody has responded to it is bad form.

What is it you think you are achieving with this attempted word play?

I didn't change my post, it's the same as the one in his reply.

Yes you did. As it says: 1 edit.

And now you've lied about it.

Nice.
