@shavixmir saidI kicked arse so hard on vivifys BS stats, There was a downward trend on homicides in Aus before the hysterical gun controls, drawing a line through 90,91,92,93,94,95,96 shows a trend which has continued. Such a common ploy it's only the terminally dim that try to sneak it through, the terminally dim who have become devout state worshippers.
You’ve lost multiple debates in one thread.
Bugger off and weep.
Edit: I don't bother with the stats, like any media there's always an agenda, it takes time and money to compile stats and when they don't agree with a pre-conceived agenda they tend not to go anywhere. So I used vivifies very own posted stats. vivify happened to try one of the oldest, most blatant and obvious tricks. Did I research stats before laying doubt on vivifys numbers? Nah, I was pretty confident I didn't need to, and walla as the french say, splat goes vivifys face on the pavement.
@wajoma saidYou stomping your feet and insisting that the hijacking of the term "libertarian" by right wing and Randian zealots in the last 50 years or so now renders inapposite the traditional definition is typical of your brainless, ahistorical arguments.
Ahh that's clarified the root of your confusion, libertarians believe there is a role for the state but it is limited to police, justice and defence. You're all mixed up on some kind of whacky anarchism trip.
edit: Perhaps we need another term that distinguishes No1s idea from actual Libertarianism, something along the lines: left socialist libertarian anarchist communist libertarianism. That clears that up then.

@no1marauder saidI'm beginning to wonder about your non-traditional use of 'right wing'.

@wajoma saidWhat you call "libertarians" are ardent defenders of the status quo and believers in State enforcement of policies designed to aid the privileged and keep in their "proper place" the "mob".
I'm beginning to wonder about your non-traditional use of 'right wing'.
Those are traditional right wing positions.

@wajoma saidSo only right Fascist libertarianism is the "real" libertarianism. Thanks for the confirmation.

@no1marauder saidNothing stifles and holds the little guy where he is quite as much as goobermint regulation and taxation. Most small guys with big dreams are simply beaten down and dissuaded from expanding by the labyrinth. Your state worshipping style favours the big guys who employ lawyers and consultants which the small guy can't.

It is you that keeps them in their "proper place"**.
** I suspect this is from spoodge.com but No1 did not attribute it, it could be a scare quote
