@averagejoe1 saidNo I’m sorry Joe but your rambling again mate. Your not making any sense. Climate change and the fight back against it too important to be side swiped by your petty inability to suck up your tears.
I hate getting sideways with Kev, but I have to use him as an example of the exasperation on this site.
I asked a simple question, which pointed out an analogy I'd made in the past, several times, about Trump. That analogy was received really badly for ole AvJoe. But then, up pops Kevin using the same reasoning (regarding the arrogant 'get-another-job' Kerry), sa ...[text shortened]... or Trump to have his really-bad personality while getting Peace in mideast, the NAFTA thingy,, etc.?
Trump was criticised for doing crappy stuff and being an ass in his private life. We know you right wingers like to sing the big corporate fossil fuel industry tune when it comes to climate change snd green energy / technologies but you lost the argument years and years ago. Casting up the fact that someone’s relative may or may not own / operate a private jet is hardly a substitute for a counter argument.
@kevcvs57 saidThe Sonhouse Gambit again. I agree, Trump an ass. You write about that as if it is an issue. Why dont you instead say, yeah, I saw the list of what he did in just 2020, good stuff...Or, do you think that is 'bad' stuff? Dont get you there.

You can bet he owns the plane in one way or another, or, someone is flying him around for free at his beck and call? His children might own it, through some generation-skipping trust. Please. He has a carbon-spewing plane. You think that is OK. How do I know? Because you cant bring yourself to say otherwise. Kevin, he does not practice what he preaches, like your lady Pelosi at the beauty parlor or CA governor at the restaurant. Naughty, dont you think?
I disagree, comparing the carbon jet is not at all unreasonable. You aint listening, brother.
@AverageJoe
We don’t have to beat this horse anymore. I sure would have liked an answer, though.
Hey, did you here Biden, who has joined the squad in only 11 days, is thinking it would be a good idea to pull back some funds earmarked for our domestic problems, like hungry children, of course immigrants, and use it to pay for abortions in Europe???
Yeah, I didn’t believe it either.
@AverageJoe1
You don't believe it but you posted it anyway.
ANYTHING in your pathetic rationale to discredit Biden and build up your indefensible Trump.
There is no defense of Trump. He is not just an 'ass' as you say, he is an actual criminal and that will be found out in less than a year when all the states after him and the Feds get their charges in order.
But of course all those charges are just fake news, right? Your god king could do no wrong.
@sonhouse saidTrump? Is that you , Sonhouse?

@AverageJoe1
You are so profoundly programmed you can't even talk. All you do is deflect not debate.
@averagejoe1 saidHe has no actual accomplishments.
You are being disingenuous to say that he 'ruins this country'. Google his accomplishments, I actually typed them all out for Handy about year ago, aint doing it again. Then, please be genuous
You cite things like "reduced regulations". In my opinion, corporations aren't regulated ENOUGH. This makes him reducing regulations as one of the things he did to help ruin this country. What did he do to restore clean drinking water to citizens of Flint Michigan? Yeah, I thought so.
Does anyone here realize what is going on in the energy sector of our country? From energy independence, to dependence. What If we stop it all tomorrow, as a test case, for 6 months. IF it works, I would embrace your alternative energy in a heartbeat. Nobody likes carbon. But if we blow our legs off, all the countries where Shav lives will really laugh.
We need a strategy...., ole man Joe, following Green people, is in knee-jerk mode. The plan? Anybody know it?
@AverageJoe1
I'm sure your conspiracy buddies will come up with something and that you will be the first to post it here.
@sonhouse saidHopefully there are enough facts to keep up busy. Hey, I have a friend who's son has $150K job in oil, Montana. Hope he made plans for the future, in case he might happen to lose that job. Downer. How much does solar panel pay for a guy who knows nothing but oil? That is, Assuming he gets a job, being a neophyte? Glad its not me. Bet you are too. Oops, Suzy would say I'm selfish.

@averagejoe1 saidAccording to IMF, ".... 6.5 percent of global GDP ($5.2 trillion) was spent on fossil fuel subsidies (including negative externalities) in 2017.. 85 percent of ALL subsidies worldwide"

I think the plan is to spend less than that supporting fossil fuels.
@wildgrass saidHard to get my arms around these types concepts, esp when you don’t mention what our world be like had that fuel NOT been used to grow our economy.

How would I have had my daily banana from South America without trucker to get it to my kitchen counter? How, indeed.
How bout a thread on what socialists and greenies want to sacrifice....hopefully not bananas.
@suzianne saidYou want corps to be regulated more than they are? I thought I would throw you this. Now remember,, your leaders such as the AOC person and Bernie...they are about socialism. If they are not,, then I humbly apologize for all my transgressions.

'Fascism's Core elements ". The following is from researcher of fascism, Lachlan Montague.
"As a result fascists aim to use the country's assets (wait a minute, Suzy, does that mean the acreage I own free and clear?) to increase the country's strength . This leads to a nationalization of assets (oh god, my land...). In this fascicm resembles marxism." Socialists are into this thinking. Fascists, perhaps?
I know I misspelled fascism , I am just took wearied by liberals who are like kindergartners too correct it.
@AverageJoe1
We are not talking about fascism. We are talking about regulation of companies that are not and never going to be benign but instead taking advantage of the Trump anti reg gift to start dumping toxins into our rivers again like they did in century 19, 20 and again now in century 21 BECAUSE of the Trump bribe.
But you of COURSE will not even be able to PROCESS that info because your ass is totally stuck in the Trump cult.
@sonhouse saidTrump reduced toxic emissions, etc more than any of the Paris Accord members after he pulled the US out of it.

Crab about China, they are the real planet polluters.
