"Peace" movements don't bring peace but war.
When Hitler invaded Poland it was because of the German peace movement!! When Rome attacked the civilizations of the Mediteranean, it was the Peace Movement. When Iraq attacked Kuwait, it was the Peace Movement. Silly me.
The IRA ceasefire was caused by the British invading Ireland after levelling Dublin!! Indeed, yes!!
Argentina finally attacked the Falklands because they suddenly judged that the peace movement would stop a response!! This, of course, completely ignores the fact that nobody in the UK had even heard of the Falklands and there certainly wasn't any peace movement.
Another utterly simplistic view of the world.

Did you even try to understand it. The point is that evil can only be stopped by force. If the "good guys", and who that is can be debated, are not willing or able to destroy the "evil guys" the "evil guys" will use force to acheive their goal. Only when "good" can beat "evil" will "evil" not pursue "evil". Calling this a simplistic view is very short sighted. I would argue that saying "if we just talk they will like us and not try to kill us" is a simplistic view. You fail to take into account the 500 Gorilla in the room which is, RADICAL MUSLIMS WANT ISRAELI'S TO NOT EXIST. That is their STATED goal. If it was not, then the 8 billion prior cease-fires would have worked (I think that's in the article somewhere). The Hitler/Rome/Argentina examples illustrate that to stop the advancement of "evil", "good" must be willing and able to stop it. The peace movements discussed wanted, and still want, the "good guys" to disarm and just talk to the enemy, thus failing the "willing and able" part of the equation thus leading "good" into war when they are at a disadvantage.
I am going to leave the "good" and "evil" terms open to debate since assigning sides is not part of my point.

Israel, the US and GB are nuts because the beheaders cross into Israel, kill soldiers on guard duty, and attack Israel with a thousand rockets? After Israel has fully complied with UN resolution 1559 and withdrawn from all the disputed territory?

What am I missing? Other than the fact that people who start wars need to be able to finish them and not depend on total idiots to win their wars by deceptive, illogical and dishonest posts in chess forums on the internet? Last time I looked, words in a debates forum gained very little for the beheaders who start war, except to gain the support of commies who lie about in govenment supplied flats doing drugs and writing meaningless songs.

And For sure the Israeli action of killing innocent civilians and blowing up Lebanon cannot be fully justified,
However, Looking at the bigger picture, i much prefer the weight of power being on the US/UK/Israel side for sure.
I dont think i like the idea of living under a repressive Islamic regime... just ask any woman living in the West...

How have previous "cease-fires" worked out for Israel?
We're all chess players here, let's think like a chess game from Israel's perspective. If Hezbollah launches rockets into Israel from amoung civilian areas (at civilians no less), but Israel must not kill any civilians, should not Israel just resign? Is in not inevitable that Israel be wiped off the map and their citizens killed? Is that the only path Israel has at its disposal that you're okay with?
Of course Germany wanted a cease fire with England in 1939, but England refused. Regretably, German civilians were killed by British bombing. Sometimes refusing a cease-fire is the right thing. I say kudos to England for their unparalleled courage in WWII.
As far as Israel goes, I think they are entitled to fight back. Let's at least acknowledge that Israel is having to make some tough calls in which undesireable results will occur no matter what they do.
