There are plenty of moderate Muslims fighting in Afghanistan to defeat the Taliban. Or is it a dictatorship run entirely by the US?
There are both moderate Muslims in the US armed forces and in the Afghanistan armed forces.
The real problem is your own ignorance.
My point is why do we have to clean up the terrorism, why doesnt the billions of moderate muslims do it.
They know the lingo, they know where the crack pots are, and they can slip into society without sticking out like a sore thumb, and they are unemployed without income, so if you infer that 1% of armed forces are muslim, then Iam infering that it should be 90%.
I 2009 the active muslim personal in the armed force was 3557 out of 1.3 million.....thats pathetic.
And their Koran states that a muslim cannot kill a muslim, unless for just cause, well you can read into that as far as you can imagine.

It's not just a failure of Muslim peaceniks -- it's a failure of international proportions. When are Christian peaceniks going to go to the USA and stop those drone pilots from killing German tourists in Pakistan? When are all the peaceniks in the world going to unite and put an end to violence, violently if necessary?
Islamabad—At least seven German nationals killed in US drone attack will be buried in a graveyard in FR Bannu where high ranking Egyptian Al-Qaida leader Abu Hmaza Rabia is buried with his wife and five children, intelligence officials said.
Eight German and two Turkmen were killed on Monday night in a strike by suspected US drone in Mausakee area of Mirali in North Waziristan Agency. An intelligence official said Taliban recovered the 10 dead bodies, including eight German and two Turkmen, after the attack, digging for hours through tonnes of rubble of the house.
“Three bodies were badly burnt with body parts scattered, so Taliban put them in separate sacks and buried them in them in village near Mirali,” he said. But they shifted rest of the bodies to Janikhel area of FR Bannu where they will be laid to rest beside Rabia and his family members, who are revered by the militants. Rabia was killed in US drone attack on Nov 30, 2005 in North Waziristan.
He was considered as a key figure in Al-Qaida and his death in drone attack was widely reported in the global media. He was reported by the US authorities as number three in Al-Qaida hierarchy and was in his thirties when drone targeted him in the village of Asoray, near Miranshah, the capital of North Waziristan along with four other men, including two Arabs.
His death stirred controversy because it was Pakistani policy that US forces were not allowed in the country. Initially the US and Pakistani authorities denied that the surprise airstrike was launched from a US predator drone. The militants killed on Monday were apparently visiting tribal leader Sher Mullah, who has close links to Hafiz Gul Bahadur, the local Taliban leader.
The official said those killed in Monday strike also included a German locally known as Fayyaz who was leading character of failed terror plan to target some European countries in the style of Mumbai attack. It believed that dozens of militants from main EU countries are living in tribal areas, not creating for the local Taliban and also Pakistani authorities which is pressed to act against the foreigners.
It said that most of European militants are part of Ittehad-e-Jihad Islami (Islamic jihad union), set up in 2009 to enlist European youth for jihad. It works closely with the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU) that attracts recruits from across central Asia.
