Well, I have to do it, you all understand. This is actually something
that's been puzzling me since day one. When my pink butt first emerged
from my mothers cave of creation (yes, I came butt first) my highly
developed senses recorded an oddity. At the time I couldn't figure it out,
and to tell the truth, with all my current knowledge and insight, I still
can't. Perhaps someone here can help (although unlikely, given my clear
superiority as an extraordinary being).
We're being fed from childbirth, stories where there's a clear division
between good and evil. (Yes, my mother actually started telling me such
a story right after birth, while I was desperately - screaming and blinking
- trying to locate one of her fun-bags for my very first meal. She's
obviously some sort of sadist, but anyway...) The good is always the
same as the ideals and standards of whatever group of people the story
is written for, and the evil is always the opposition. (No, this is not about
good and evil, so bare with me, please). Now, being a citizen of a
western society, the evil is communism and various forms of
dictatorships. In fact, we proudly proclaim, again and again, that one of
the great things about our western societies is the fact that we live in
democracies where everyone has a choice (as opposed to living in a
dictatorship where everything supposedly sucks).
And no, this is not about democracy either.
We pat ourselves on the backs for living in, and blindly maintaining this
order in our "modern" societies and we think no more of it. Which is a
shame, because really: Haven't we just traded one form of dictatorship
for another? Yes, true, given enough time, dedication and opportunities,
supposedly anyone can make it in our "still modern" societies. That's
"Make it" as in making lots of money to buy a freedom usually denied
those unfortunate bastards providing that freedom. Haven't we just
traded the nobles, kings, dictators, religiously fanatic leaders, blaha,
blaha, for opportunistic, capitalistic, two-timing scoundrals (or in plain
english, capitalists and politicians at heart). There's still power distributed
among the people. Some have more and some have less. The only way
to get more power is to either throw over the ones possessing it, or play
their game, their way to get a piece of the cake. How fair a society is
that?
I say, we're just living under a new form of oppression, and we're forced
to play the game as the people in power see fit. Supposedly, if I get so
and so much money from a given capitalist to produce a new invention of
sorts that could be useful to certain fractions within this powerstructure I
should be thankful enough to never question how they use it. Isn't that
strange? By taking their money for research and testing I apparently
become a sort of slave to their demands. When you think about it, it
makes no sense at all, does it?
We're born free (butt first or not). We then happen to be born into
different families of different status. Then as we go along we either play
the game right and gain more power or we oppose and loose it all. In
the end, none of us is really free. The ones in power have to be naturally
gifted with a sense of paranoia that completely negates any chances for
them to lead a healthy, free life. The ones without power are forced to
struggle, doing things they don't really want to do just to maintain some
sort of life. And for what purpose?
I say, let's throw over every single government and power-structure in
the world today. Create a new world order, where everyone has one voice.
The laws are maintained through technological inventions, such that no
one person can gain any sort of power over anyone else. Everyone is free
to do whatever the hell they want with their time. That'd be a thrill.
So, what is it I can't quite comprehend? Well, why we're not currently
living in such an idealistic society where we can truly straighten our backs
in pride at being "good" individuals who cherish life and personal
development (or whatever will be considered "good" in this new society).
Ok? So, we have a... what?.. illiteracy problem here? I'll shorten it down for
you then. We can call it: "Modern day oppression for dummies".
This society? The one we in the west call the free, democratic society? It's
not really free. It's what I like to call the biggest hoax since
Muhammed. It's like that whole Morpheus-"the world that has been pulled
over your eyes" kind of thing.

in that.
HA!
Seriously, assume that you're working for some big company. You're
under oath of silence because what you're doing is a big hush, hush,
right?.. Now, why is it that a reasonable fella like yourself is working
under such stupid conditions?
Money. You could become a cleaning lady instead. That also brings
money, just a lot less. And see, that's the point exactly. Instead of being
enslaved by dictators, kings or religious zealots, we're being oppressed
by those who have the means to control our very basic survival needs.
Making us believe that it's actually fair that some people should
start from rock bottom and others be given practically everything they
need from birth, and then living in a society where if you have more it's
easier to aqquire... well, more. And the fact that the common man is
allowing him/herself to be fooled like this (yeah, I know, like it's really
that hard to fool the common man) is... almost emotional to me.
Almost...
And for the dummies
It's not really fair for some to be given an advantage over others. A fair
society would strip anyone of all their rights, but the right to control their
own life.
Yes, I know, I know. Communism didn't work and blah blah... But, if you
think about it. If no one has any control over anyone else, then we need
not worry about anyone else, hence we need no governments or system
of any kind. Just some massive technological solution that would prevent
us from exercising any kind of control over anyone else.
Simple.

People generally do not appreciate what they have until they loose it.

changing things for the better. In fact, I did that earlier this week. I told
the investors whose money made it possible for us to develop a given
piece of technology that they could shove their claims up their butts.
See, the only thing they ever did was give a little money, of which they
had more than enough. The deal was that they would be given the
money back with interest as soon as the invention in question started
making money. But now they seem to think that they own the
rights to this invention and they have chosen a different path than was
originally intended.
Unfortunately, as I told them that if they would roll up their sleeves and
actually do some work to get things done instead of just throwing their
excessive capital resources around I would respect their view better, they
just laughed at me and told me that if I don't hand over all the material
related to our work by the end of the week they shall bestow upon me a
good buttjob consistent of so many fine lawyers that'll cost them so and
so much money and blah blah...
Of course, that's the equivalent of the king telling his not so loyal subject
that he's been totally screwed and can now expect nothing but the
guillotine. But my case is besides the point. This is normal.
Normal, you understand. That people with a lot can easily gain more,
while those with less has to either dance by the false pipe or perrish. I
choose perrish. It'll be a cold day in winter (something I think we all
know won't happen again) before I let them take what I've done and
turn it into something I cannot stand for. So, to sum up, cause I really
don't have much time now, you won't be reading me anymore. I guess
that's a positive thing for most of you, but those who did like my
presence in these here parts, I'm sorry... but I see no other way out of
this.
Just kidding! HA! I'm so funny, I just hurt myself. 😀
But you get the point this time, right? 🙂
