@wildgrass saidPlease. Cut the fat off, he was subpoenaed, and he has the audacity to dictate his conditions? I assume that that is what y'all are talking about?
You think it's normal to ask a presidents son to testify in an impeachment.
It's not normal. He agreed anyway. He wanted a public deposition so that his testimony would not be intentionally misconstrued. Republicans said no.
If there's a conflict with other testimony then they can easily figure that out. You're making excuses
The big problem here is that now the r ...[text shortened]... ut all they have is a car loan. They don't want any public testimony because the inquiry is garbage.
The authorities will decide if it is closed door, and I hope he has More audacity and does not show up! Go ahead, sleazeball, make our day!!! How can you people run cover for this hore-monger druggie?

@averagejoe1 saidLegal counsel is absolutely allowed to respond to subpoenas with objections and terms. The fact remains that Hunter agreed to testify. He agreed to testify. He agreed to testify. He agreed to testify.

@AverageJoe1
Given all that has been discovered, and with which he has been charged , should Hunter go to jail if found guilty? Please, no reference to Trump or Joe Biden.
@wildgrass saidNo question that it is theater, but all we have to do is cut away the theater and recognize it for what it is, and shelve it. Then, we have but to discuss the punishment for violation of law by one Hunter X Biden.
Dude. Republicans subpoena him to testify. He agrees. Then they refuse. No gray area. What explains that?
Yes he's an addict, criminal, will go to prison. But you and other cultists hype it to be something else it is not.
It's theater.
It is that easy. A good start would be to have Sonhouse start his own superfluous thread, while we stick to the the issue ....of............Hunter Biden.
I guess we can also play 'theater' and hold off conviction until after Biden loses the election, so that he cannot pardon him. (cannot pardon if there is yet no conviction.). The plot thickens.
@averagejoe1 saidNow you're talking about taxes and guns, which is not handled by Congress. This is an impeachment inquiry. Hunters a witness. Republicans asked him to testify but don't want to actually hear his testimony.

@wildgrass saidHuh? Can you explain that comment, I am having a hard time on these threads, getting explanations of these unfounded statements. Just an explanation of your last sentence above would be nice. You may be aware that it does not make sense.

I actually want to hear Bidens testimony. You, apparently, dont. If there's a conflict with other testimony then they can easily figure that out ...[text shortened]... ut all they have is a car loan. They don't want any public testimony because the inquiry is garbage.
LOL…its not normal for a president and his son, or family, to sell the country out to the highest bidder.

@wildgrass said - Neither Joe or Earl can separate the impeachment from the crimes that Hunter committed.
C'mon, wildgrass. You know me better than that, sheeeesh

@mott-the-hoople saidHe refused to testify before the committee, said he'd only do it in open court.
and you are lying
That's not how depositions work, and Hunter and his lawyers know it.
