@vivify saidyour statement assumes the immigrants will vote democrat...where is your proof of this? you are arguing a point that isnt proven.
Let's say you're right: this is all a plot to flood the voting pool with legal immigrants, because they tend to vote for Dems.
Don't you see something wrong Republicans if a rise in legal immigrants is a threat them having power? Maybe conservatives should change their model of appealing mostly to white Christians.
actually, latinos lean right, and the majority of immigrants are latino.

@averagejoe1 saidI take it you support gerrymandering and redistricting ? 🤔
Any honest heartfelt thoughts on this? I asked it of a pitiful contributor on another thread, who could only muster a 'it's of no concern to me..not my business'. That's OK, though.
So what does everyone think? Noncitizens vote on how we spend our money? Unbelievable.

@vivify saidWhat ARE you talking about? Why type all of this extraneous stuff about registering or walking down the street? A non-citizen… should a non-citizen be able to vote in any election regarding other people that are citizens? What is the deal with your lives that you cannot stay on one issue?
Non-citizens have to register to vote, just like citizens do. Their status as either citizens or legal non-citizens would show this.
Note that I'm talking about *registering* to vote; I'm not talking about bringing ID or paperwork on voting day.

@cliff-mashburn saidHey…. 50% of the US population do not pay income taxes. Who knows what other taxes they don’t pay. So to use payment of taxes as a qualification to vote is quite irrelevant.
How would they determine if they are paying taxes? Bring a W-2 income tax form? How could they do that when libs are screaming about how racist it is to even require an ID to vote?

@shavixmir saidShav.Did you watch say that one should not have to produce an ID to vote. Because here you are saying that someone should produce a Social Security number to vote.
Social security number?

@sh76 saidYou see no reason??? Well tell us, what would be a reason that they should not be allowed to vote.
If they're here legally, I see no reason that it's so terrible to allow them to vote in local elections. National elections are different, as the standards have to be uniform across the country.
I have to say, though, that the rule seems to be playing a bit of a sleight of hand trick.
According to the article:
[quote]Under the bill, people who have lived in the city fo ...[text shortened]... umping them in the same category as green card holders in terms of voting rights is not very honest.
Geez o petey. Libs. You fellers definitely Live in a world of contradiction and confusion.

"lets just pretend we dont know what the democrats are up to"
WTF are talking about then, if you don't believe immigrants vote for Dems? Or do you just post random nonsensical statements?

@mott-the-hoople saidDACA also applies people who entered the country legally as children.
no it isnt...daca isnt legal

@vivify saidyou are just about too stupid to talk with. Democrats are trying to take over the election process, this is just a stepping stone. Are you ignorant of how these crooked b astards work?

@mott-the-hoople saidY'all should follow the move in Georgia to improve the system's voting laws. Going on right now. I like it because it is designed to stop corruption.

@averagejoe1 saidBy that reasoning 50% of American citizens

shouldn't be allowed to vote.........hello?
@mott-the-hoople saidYou just said most immigrants are Latino, and claimed Latino immigrants "lean right". Remember?

How then are Dems trying to "take over" elections with voting laws for non-citizens? Can you answer that? Isn't that just helping Republicans, according to your claims?
Mott, you F'd up by forgetting you're too stupid to debate.
