No. And nobody said he did.

“Hillary Clinton dismissed President Trump as an “illegitimate president” and suggested that “he knows” that he stole the 2016 presidential election in a CBS News interview to be aired Sunday.”

@mott-the-hoople saidShe said that three years *after* the election, in 2019. Hillary conceded immediately, she didn't raise and hell and pressure election officials to overturn an election or incite a violent insurrection like Trump did.

@shavixmir saidWe literally had a 3 year investigation with a special prosecutor assigned because of a Russian collusion hoax. The Democrats tried an actual coup right in front of your eyes and you can't see it.

@mott-the-hoople saidBeing intellectually consistent is something Democrats are never pressured to do. They can forget what they said last week once the topic changes.

Here is an article from the Washington Post from the time (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/global-opinions/wp/2017/09/08/the-case-for-trump-russia-collusion-were-getting-very-very-close/ ).
If conservatives made accusations that blunt about the 2020 election, they'd be banned from social media.
@techsouth saidThe Russia investigation was lead by *Republicans*. James Comey, a Republican, opened the investigation, Jeff Sessions (Republican) allowed the investigation to continue by recusing himself, and when Trump fired him because of it, Rod Rosenstein (Republican) selected Robert Mueller (a Republican) to lead the investigation when he could have ended it.

So how did Dems attempt "an actual coup", huh?
This type uninformed hogwash is typical of conservatives.
@techsouth saidNever once was said the votes were fraudulant of that the ballots cast were wrong.

That investigation was about Russia meddling, influencing voters.
@mott-the-hoople saidYou moron. There’s a massive difference between stating that a foreign power was influencing voters, than to saying the votes cast were wrongly counted and demanding the election be nullified.

Perhaps you should reflect a little before calling someone else ignorant.
You brainwashed sucker.
Anyway, I just love the squirming by our republican friends. Constantly trying to look at everything except what’s really going on.
It must be very uncomfortable to see trump’s own inner-circle, hand-picked advisors and even family explain that trump was wrong, detached from reality and that the election wasn’t stolen.
I mean, you lot have been regurgitating those lies for 18 months. And now the people in the know are telling you it was BS brought to you from a drunk lawyer’s dilerium.
Surely it is now time to admit you were duped and take a step back to reflect?
@jimm619 saidTrump was screaming 'fraud' while watching tv as the results were coming in on election night, before there could possibly have been any evidence of fraud. That alone shows that Trump's contention is entirely his own fantasy, zero-evidence-based.
Understandable, usually you need evidence. 😛
@shavixmir saidDon't call them Shirley.

@techsouth saidNo. There was ample evidence that a foreign power influenced it, but not that Trump stole it. He just lost the popular vote, that's all.
Was there any evidence that Trump stole the 2016 election?
@shavixmir saidSome votes cast were wrongly counted. That much is a fact. It happened in my state in Antrim county. It is well documented. I'm not claiming it was enough to swing the state to Trump though. That is a whole different story.

@moonbus saidNot really. Not any more than Americans do legally.

You can set up a news website that is politically biased and advertise it on facebook to influence elections. That is perfectly legal. If Russia does the same thing is that nefarious? No, and the influence is negligible.
Mail in voting, however, makes vote buying really easy. It is suspect that government and the news media lied about it and said there was no evidence it increased voter fraud. That was not true and Jimmy Carter and James Baker are well aware of that.
@AverageJoe1
You are not going to discuss that issue with Hang Pence no matter new thread or not. That is clear.
@metal-brain saidYou are mistaken that any foreigner can do legally to America what Americans do legally in America. Influencing an election is one of the things foreigners may not legally do to America. If you need an explanation why, I am not inclined to indulge you; it should be bloody obvious why.

Empirical evidence of the security of mail-in votes is well-documented. The fraud rate is well below 1%. This has been repeatedly cited with links to U.S. state election commissions; I won't bother to do it again.
