without an ID, how do you know where the voters are from?
I already explained how NY does so and you called me a "liar".

So why waste my time doing so again?

I don't see any deadline BEFORE you can apply for an absentee ballot. https://www.elections.ny.gov/VotingAbsentee.html

The new law in Georgia makes it so that you have to wait until three months before the election to even apply for an absentee ballot rather than the previous law's six months. This is inefficient and senseless unless your intention is to discourage their use.

Marauder has once again painted himself into a corner. He is INDEED saying that a person from Iran can wade into the USA and vote, since he does not need ID.
What is WRONG with liberals.

Three months to apply for an absentee ballot isn't enough?

What is wrong with you?

I already explained the procedure in NY and it would be impossible for someone just to "walk in" and vote. Are you too stupid to understand that?

Why reduce it from 6 months? Give me one logical reason to do so other than to discourage their use.

We are discussing the concept of a total stranger illegal invading alien from Nairobi or Timbuktu walking up to a voting booth in Franklin, Anystate, and voting sithout so much as a word. If you mentioned NewYork or some link, i missed it, though irrelevant anyway.

Because it ties people up for half a year taking care of them?

It takes just as much time to process an absentee ballot application that arrives six months before the election as three months before the election. If you were interested in efficiency, you'd want to receive them ASAP.

Do you mean you dont even know other states deadlines but you are criticizing the Georgia law? LOL

New Yorkers have 8 days less than Georgia's 3 months.

Maybe you're "discussing" such an impossibility with yourself but I've already shown you don't just walk up to a voting booth "without a word" and cast your vote.

Have you ever voted? Did you vote before photo ID laws? Most have been enacted in the last 10 to 15 years or so.

Where did you come up with that? Certainly not from the NYS website I provided.
