Sweet, this woman is a jewel. I wonder if Obama would be forgiven for the same sins as the hypocrite Republican tramp running with McCain, lol

Officials of the Alaskan Independence Party say that Palin was once so independent, she was once a member of their party, which, since the 1970s, has been pushing for a legal vote for Alaskans to decide whether or not residents of the 49th state can secede from the United States.
And while McCain's motto -- as seen in a new TV ad -- is "Country First," the AIP's motto is the exact opposite -- "Alaska First -- Alaska Always."
Lynette Clark, the chairman of the AIP, tells ABC News that Palin and her husband, Todd, were members in 1994, even attending the 1994 statewide convention in Wasilla. Clark was AIP secretary at the time.

But we're losing the thread here.
Tell me, how would you fancy your vicepresident being a secessionist?
Aren't Republicans supposed to be patriots who want one nation under God?

seriously now, it says she was a member of that party. maybe she changed her mind. would you have anything against a president who smoked pot in college or burned a flag as a 19 year old hippie?
What about secessionist ideals?
Sure, a smart person can (and must) evolve with time, and that changes also views about life, religion, politics, football, etc.
However, has she come forward with that part of her past?
Has she written or spoken openly about those times and how and why she thinks differently now?
Or is she concealing that past? (as it seems)
That, my friend, is the question.
Edit. Paul used to chase and kill Christians. Then he converted. After preaching the Gospel despite persecution and humiliation, I am sure nobody doubted he changes his original views on Christianity 🙂

Your use of the word 'tramp' to describe someone you don't know much about simply says everything we need to know about your character.. whether you meant it our not. If you meant it..so much the sadder....
I think the best thing you can do is stfu
Personally, Sarah Palin is almost enough to get me to vote for John McCain with the hope he woukld pass away from natural causes soon after taking office as President ... if thats the decision of the American people... after all he is 72
However , at this point ..... I'll stick to my guns and not vote for the Maverick McCain or the presumptive Messiah Obama
The sad thing is this whole election is these two are the best we have to choose from?

Let's make a deal: You stop speaking your mind about the rest of the world and your country stops messing with the rest of the world, and then I will stop talking about the U.S.
Deal?

If so, could you please describe Sarah Palin's foreign policy experience? Keeping in mind that she did not have a passport until 2007.
Finally, could you explain her qualifications and opinions on issues that are important to you that make you want her to be president? Has she given a lot of speeches on trade? Healthcare? Taxes? The economy? Terrorism? Did she do well in a press conference with the national media?
Obama has a website jam packed with position papers, could you point to a similar webiste for Sarah Palin?

By THE NEW YORK TIMES
Published: September 3, 2008
The chairwoman of an Alaskan political party that advocates a vote on the state’s secession from the union said Tuesday that she had been mistaken when she said Gov. Sarah Palin had been a member of the group.
A front-page article in The New York Times on Tuesday and articles in other news outlets reported that Ms. Palin was a member of the party, the Alaskan Independence Party, for two years in the 1990’s.
The information in the Times article was based on a statement issued Monday night by Lynette Clark, the party’s chairwoman, who said Ms. Palin joined the party in 1994, and in 1996 changed her registration to Republican.
On Tuesday night, Ms. Clark said her initial statement was incorrect and had been based on erroneous information provided by another member of the party whom she declined to identify. The McCain campaign also disputed the Times report, saying Ms. Palin had consistently been registered as a Republican.
After checking the party’s archives, Ms. Clark said she could find no documentation that Ms. Palin had been a member.

Gun ownership, conservative church values, homeschooling, family values, anti-abortion and all that. You have said that you wouldn't vote for McCain, but, my God, does this get any better for you than her?
Agreed!
I also read that she likes to fly around in a plane and find wolves and chase them until they are completely exhausted and then shoot them from the plane. I dont' believe this is fair to the wolves. That seems barbaric to me. What do you think?
